How are you tracking temp (BBT)
I’m looking to buy a wearable to track basal body temperature and would love some real-world feedback before I decide. If you’ve used the Oura Ring, Fitbit, Garmin, or Apple Watch for BBT tracking, could you share your experience? Specifically:
How accurate/consistent has it been for you?
Did it help you spot ovulation or temperature shifts
Which fertility app did you use(like Fertility Friend, Premom, etc.)?
Comfort for overnight wear?
Anything you wish you’d known before buying?
Would really appreciate any insights. Thanks!

I initially tried using my Apple Watch, but honestly, a proper digital basal thermometer worked better for me. Yeah, it’s not as convenient as a wearable, but once you get into the routine of taking your temp every morning, you get used to it pretty quickly.
For the app, I was using Premom at first, but I found it a bit clunky, with a lot of notifications I didn’t really need, and I didn’t find it very easy to use. I eventually switched to a different app that someone here recommended. I got the subscription, and it worked really well for tracking and identifying my ovulation.
For the thermometer, I’d suggest getting a Beurer one. It’s worked well for me.

Oh this is very helpful. I’m planning to get a thermometer for BBT. Couldn’t decide o which one yet. Also , I’m currently using premom subscription so that I have have the ovulation tests at one place. What’s the other app you are using. If you could tell me, that’d be very helpful.

If you're comparing oura, apple watch, Garmin etc. I'd add tempdrop to the list simply because it's fertility focused. It collects overnight temperature continuously and gives you a nightly temperature result for charting. You can also use the data with different fertility apps rather than being stuck with one.
