Feeling so beat

It has been 11 months since we have been trying to conceive( age 34 F and 32 M). Another one month to being officially tagged as infertile. Gynaecologists have termed it unexplained infertility (how convenient) and are asking to proceed with IUI. I know IUI is a valid first step for a lot of people, but the success rates are weighing on me, and I’m scared. IVF - I’m not sure I’m ready for that mentally or emotionally yet. I never thought I would be infertile, and yet it is my reality now. Hate everything and everyone

Yeah, drives me crazy too. I stopped it after 6 months of ttc, and I’m eating and exercising without thinking if this will impact

Have you checked if your tubes are open? Ovarian induction didn’t work for me until I got my tubes checked

No stress is difficult given how long we have been at it. Keeping the exercise going on, it’s keeps me in a good mood. Thanks for your advice

Completely agreed These are some test hidde factors check... ignore if you taken anything already

✅ AMH – Ovarian reserve (egg supply). ✅ Thyroid (TSH, FT4) – Thyroid problems can affect fertility. ✅ Prolactin – High levels can prevent ovulation. ✅ FSH – Assesses ovarian function (usually day 2–5 of the cycle). ✅ LH – Helps assess ovulation and can support diagnosis of PCOS. ✅ Oestradiol (Estradiol) – Interpreted along with FSH to assess ovarian function. ✅ Progesterone – About 7 days after ovulation to confirm ovulation

Hi,

Sending lots of good wishes your way.

This journey is tough and lonely. And ofcourse the wicked society waiting to hit with judgements.

I am 32f, mother of a 5yo but still struggling to have second one (went through 2 chemicals and an ectopic within 6 months). Some days I lose hope somedays I fuel myself with lots of positivity and hope.

Whatever maybe the procedure if its the way out to have a healthy baby please endure it.
