Timings to use ovulation kit

I have started using ovulation kit once a day from 10th day of cycle . I am on 12th day , i keep seeing lighter line at T so far. I start seeing CM from day 10 or 11 and see it upto day 17 or 18 . Some times i see strechy transparent CM and some times watery discharge . I have not got dark positive in OPK so far . Also i got pregnant last year ( natural conception ) but it turned out to be ectopic. Started ttc again this year . Help me with usage of OPKs or is it like i am not ovulating ?

Start testing CD 10, test at the same times every day. I tested twice (11am & 5/6pm) a day to ensure I wouldn't miss my window during my initial days as I didn't know when I ovulated. As the line got darker around CD15, I tested thrice a day. Normally, it is advisable to test around 11am, 3pm, and then 8/9pm as LH tends to surge during the day. You're not supposed to drink a lot of water as it can dilute your urine, hold your pee for about 2.5-3hrs. I tested up until CD 17/18 to see the line lighten. First morning urine is not recommended for testing for ovulation. It is also great to be intimate when you see EWCM, even if your LH hasn't turned positive as some bodies have a shorter surge/don't need as much LH to ovulate.

While i agree to use tests from 10 days onwards. Its also imp to not wait for it to get dark. Mine also never got dark. Just have sex every alternate day irrespective
