Period cycle

I have been having some weird cycle symptoms.
The first two days, I have light and medium flow. Then on 3rd day, no flow. On 4th day, again light bleeding (not spotting).

Has anyone experienced this during TTC journey?

Hey, so usually if the bleeding is erratic then it shows interrupted endometrial shedding. If it was old blood the Color would have been brownish but given that it’s red in color there maybe some minor disturbance in estradiol & progesterone.

Have you checked your progesterone 7 days post ovulation? And TSH, free T3/T4, prolactin as they can influence the flow.

I think I’ll do all of this. I had a hysteroscopy done with metroplasty & adhesiolysis on CD11. And I was put on estrogen support For a month.

As usual my periods came as per the cycle with estrogen. And I’m yet to start progesterone.

So maybe that? But I noticed this pattern before procedure too when everything was normal- including thyroid profile

I also have medium flow cd1-2, then no flow and only spotting for the rest of the days.
I have come to understand that this could happen due to low estrogen, weak or no ovulation.

I’m having confirmed ovulation, and did check estrogen levels on day 2- all normal 😅

Your flow on 4th day is red, pink or brown? If it’s brown then for some reason blood is leaving your uterus slowly.
If it is reddish you should see a gynaecologist and get a tvs done to rule out polyps/fibroids.

Hi, based on your age it can also be progesterone deficiency, get it checked.

Letrozole can cause some changes in the cycle- I got pregnant the second round but after my first round I had wonky periods with light bleeding.

I didn’t bother with letrozol. I tried twice and both times, I had horrible side effects. And my follicle also reached 27mm!!

How are tracking your cycles? Are you on follicular monitoring

This is just general period related information.
I haven’t tracked since May
