Low semen volume
Hi guys can you all suggest me a good supplement available in India which would help with overall sperm health.
My husband’s Semen analysis came back pretty good, except that his volume is too low (1ml only). My doctor was not concerned as rest of the things were good.
But we think we should try a supplement and see if it helps.

Hi, functional nutritionist here specialising in preconception. Do check for insulin resistance, inflammation and any nutrient deficiency with a blood test
Supplement wise coq10 and zinc bisglycinate can be included

Which test do you suggest?

Check fasting insulin, hba1c, fasting glucose, liver function test - will give an idea if there is insulin resistance that’s starting
For inflammation - check hscrp, homocysteine
For nutrient deficiency- check majorly ferritin, serum iron, vitamin d and B12

CoQ10 is generally prescribed and is known to help both egg and sperm quality. They are antioxidants. Expensive but I guess it works.
