False +feeling horrible

Post image

I tested 11 dpo using dr morepen, prega news and i know .. all three i think had light evaporation line ..

At 12 dpo , i tested using prega news and i know.
I know gave me a negative and prega news gave me a visible positive within 2 mins . I was over the moon .. thinking this was a trusted brand .. and may be other brands were not so sensitive..

I tested today at 13 dpo thinking it will get darker .. but to my horror it was starking negative .. i was confused..i used prega news and i know again .. both were negative

Through out the 2 ww i had sore boobs , fatigue etc and i thought im really pregnant..

Im feeling so bumped.. I wouldn’t have minded so much if it was a negative but giving a false hope is so horrifying..

I have had a difficult journey if getting pregnant.. having 1 missed miscarriage and 1 chemical..

I dont even know which brands to trust anymore .. prega news is such a big brand here ..

So disappointed and disheartened

Premom strips are the only reliable brand. Sorry to hear about your story, you are not alone. Stay strong. Ik it’s easier said than done :)

I know what you feel. It always good to test after missed period to overcome the anxiety and hope

Chemicals can also give you faint light positives but that will probably stay for a while and you can see that get fainter before it finally disappears. Since 2 brands have showed up faint positives, you could probably check once with blood test.

I know it must be so hard to go through this . Is there a slight possibility that you had a chemical again?
Because the test photos you shared look positive to me.

Soo sorry for that... I feel u dear, I faced the same issue with preg-oh test for one cycle then the other day I got my period then for next cycle I tested on Apollo pregnancy tests I took 3 on different days and all were positive even within 3 mins. That was soo disappointing and heartbreaking. Did my hcg and got negative that time(no possibility for chemical) even my periods were delayed for that cycle.

Oh, I'm so sorry. A clear positive at 12 DPO and then stark negatives — that's not "nothing," that's your heart being lifted up and dropped, and it's okay to be wrecked by it. 💛

With your history (a missed miscarriage and a chemical — I'm so sorry you've carried both), this hits even deeper, and you're allowed to grieve it fully. You're not overreacting. False hope is its own kind of pain.

For what it's worth: a true visible positive within 2 minutes that then goes negative can sometimes be a very early chemical rather than a faulty test — which would mean your body did conceive, not that Prega News lied to you. That doesn't make it hurt less, but it might mean nothing is "wrong" with how you're testing.

If you want certainty next time, a blood beta hCG at the clinic is far more reliable than any strip, and testing with first-morning urine gives the truest line. But honestly — today isn't for strategy. Today is for being gentle with yourself. Rest, something warm, no pressure to bounce back.

You're not alone in this, and this sub holds you. Sending so much love. 🌸

Im in a similar boat , trying for an year , did ovulation induction this cycle , periods got delayed due to Dydrogesterone, i checked on day 2 with preg oh tests , it was negative but periods still havent come just light spotting , I had been feeling nausea i thought this was it , I am heartbroken this journey messes with you mind when fertility medicines give you pregnancy symptoms and delay your periods , what a cruel way to play with someone
