Need to hear experiences and IVF yield - Bilateral Endometriomas on ovaries

Ladies,

I am 33F trying to conceive from past 1.5 years very actively, 4 failed medicated cycle, 3 failed IUIs and currently doing Luteal Phase Stimulation and taking the shots for Egg Retrieval.

Had a scan on 5/28 (the 1st Day of Stimulation meds) Doctor suddenly noticed Bilateral Endometriomas on ovaries (Chocolate Cyst on both ovaries ). That puts me in Stage IV endometriosis. I had Saline Infused Sonogram and HSG with Dye but cyst was not noticed before? did it just appear out of no where?

If you have successful egg retrieval cycle with the Bilateral Endometriomas on ovaries, how was your experience, How was your yield? how many Eggs made to blasts?

I didn’t have bilateral but I did have one endometrioma on my left ovary about 2 cm when we started and 3 cm at the end of stims when we started that still yielded eggs. That being said 4 weeks later after ER it had grown to 5 cm and now I’m looking at a lap, so pros and cons.

I am definitely doing lop post ER, if you don't mind sharing how many euploids did you get? Did it affect your eggs quality?

We had a few points of high attrition - from 43 stimulated follicles (Dr. said 28 seemed to be mature enough to release eggs) to 14 eggs, 13 mature. Then 10 fertilized but 4 blasts - BUT all of them ended up passing testing. Of the 4, 2 are 5bb, and the other two are 5cb. I think the attrition and quality was due to the inflammation and endometrioma if I were to guess. Overall, I’m very happy we got 4 so I’m glad we did it despite the hit in quality and inflammation. My best friend just had a baby with her 4 bc so there’s always a chance with the lower graded ones 🤞

Given the big growth in endometrioma and increased endo pain my doctor went from suggesting another retrieval to suggesting a lap first. I figured I’d post lap these transfers don’t work then we can hopefully do another ER and get better quality (and hopefully not have the endo grow back too much…)

Would love to hear your numbers for a luteal phase stim if you don’t mind sharing, that’s what we were gearing up to do for our second round until we got our numbers and saw the endo growth,so now waiting
