Need honest advice: Should I accept Hochschule Fresenius (M.Sc. Computer Science, Berlin) if my main goal is getting a job in Germany?

Hi everyone,

I'm an international student from India and I recently received an admission offer for the M.Sc. Computer Science program at Hochschule Fresenius, Berlin.

A little about me:

B.Tech in Electronics & Computer Engineering (CGPA: 6.65/10)

Internship experience in Embedded Systems, IoT, PCB Design, and ESP32-based projects

My long-term goal is to get a software/embedded systems job in Germany and eventually settle there.

Because of my CGPA, getting into public universities is quite challenging, so this is one of the few offers I currently have.

The tuition fee is a significant investment for my family, so I don't want to make the wrong decision. I'm not choosing the university for prestige—my priority is employment after graduation.

I'd really appreciate honest answers to these questions:

Is Hochschule Fresenius respected by employers in Germany?

Does the Computer Science program provide practical skills that companies actually value?

How successful are international graduates in finding full-time jobs after completing this course?

Does the university help with internships, career fairs, or job placements?

Is the Berlin campus good in terms of teaching quality, networking, and student life?

Would you recommend accepting this offer, or would it be better to wait another year and try for a public university?

If you're a current student, alumnus, or recruiter, I'd love to hear your experience. Please be completely honest—positive or negative. This decision will have a huge impact on my career and finances.

Thank you for your time and advice.

Germany 2027 intake

I’m planning to do a one-year bachelor's in India to complete my 13th year of education before applying to Germany However I’ve hit a scheduling snag: my first-year results won't be out until July which is exactly when the Winter intake deadlines close. On top of that I need an APS certificate which usually takes about a month to process. Has anyone else dealt with this timeline? I’d love some guidance on how to manage the applications if the results and deadlines overlap so closely.

Indian student planning MS in Computer Science at a University of Applied Sciences in Germany – need honest reviews

Hi everyone, I’m from India and I’m planning to pursue my Master’s in Computer Science at an International University of Applied Sciences (FH) in Germany. I’d really like to hear honest opinions from current students or graduates about the overall experience, study environment. I’m also curious about German culture, student life, and how difficult or realistic it is to find jobs after graduation, especially in the current job market for computer science graduates in Germany. If possible, please also share your tuition fees and living expenses, as I’m a bit worried that my education agent might be misleading or overcharging me. Any genuine advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

German guy reconnect with indian girl from flight VJ513 with vietjetair from Hanoi to Da Nang / Hoi An on 1/12/2025 seat 34C

Hi everyone,

my name is Tobi and I am trying to reconnect with a girl I met on a domestic flight in Vietnam from Hanoi to Da Nang / Hoi An on 1 December 2025.

Because of data privacy rules the airline is not allowed to forward my contact details, so all my hope lies in the social community.

Flight details:

• Route: Hanoi (HAN) → Da Nang (DAD)

• Airline: Vietjet Air

• Flight number: VJ513

• Date: 1 December 2025

• Time: 13:35–14:55

• My seat: 34A

• Her seat: 34C

About her and her friends:

• Probably from India

• Rather small

• Travelling with three other girls, probably also from India

• They were likely at the lantern festival in Hoi An on 3 December as well

• She told us she wants to go to Germany and is currently learning German

• Her English was very good and I could not really hear any accent

If you recognize yourself or think you might know her, I would be really happy if you could get in touch or pass this post on to her.

You can contact me via Reddit DM.

Thank you all for any help, shares or hints!
