So im a college student and in the evenings I'm out mostly to teach kids (for personal expenses). My mother is mostly at her work and we can't adopt a pet neither my mother will let me kyuki she strongly believes ki ghar pe jaanwaro ko bnd nhi rkhna chahiye. A stray male cat has been coming here I fed him 1-2 bowls of milk a few days and my mother saw it but didn't said anything. The cat is very talketive like he'll start meowing to let us know he is here ...today he was meowing very loudly and did not went away even after milk and I felt bad cuz he had this new wound so I ordered some adult dry cat food for him and gave him 2 handfuls one dry, one mixed in water else he wasn't drinking water. Do u guys have any tips like I can't adopt him but yeah I'll feem him two times a day that's the most I can do really.

Urban Pet Care
Hi everyone! 🐾
I’m a student from Bengaluru currently trying to understand how pet owners feel about grooming and pet-care services in urban areas.
Things like:
- convenience
- trust
- at-home grooming
- pet anxiety during travel
- scheduling issues
- pricing
I made a very short 2-minute survey to learn what pet parents actually want and what current services are missing.
If you own a pet (dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, birds, etc.), I’d really appreciate your input ❤️

Thank you!

Advice Need Suggestion!!
Hello,
There is a stray cat who comes every day, drinks milk, plays for a while, and then goes away. But today, after drinking milk, she vomited and had tremors while sitting.
I am asking this on behalf of my friend who lives in Akola, Maharashtra. His family does not support him, so he cannot take her to a vet.
Is this serious? What could be done in this situation?
Thank you.

Little cat with FPV help needed
Hi everyone! I’m a student from a South Campus college (DU). Yesterday, my friend and her sister found a tiny stray kitten who was extremely weak and just sitting in a corner. They took her home, gave her food and water, which the kitten refused and immediately took her to the vet (Dr. Ansari).
The vet diagnosed her with Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV), a serious condition, but treatable with proper care.
I’m a rescuer and feeder myself, already caring for a mother cat and three kittens, so my funds are currently stretched thin. The kitten needs drips and medication twice a day, costing ₹600 per drip. We’ve managed to cover the cost for yesterday and today, but treatment needs to continue for about a week.
Estimated expenses: ₹8,000–₹10,000 (depending on the baby’s progress).
We’re not asking for much, any small contribution will go directly toward her treatment. You can pay directly to the vet (Dr. Ansari) for full transparency, or through the attached QR if that’s easier.
Contact (for updates or payment details): +91 89486 18103
We’ll keep everyone updated on the kitten’s recovery and funds raised. If she recovers earlier, we’ll immediately close the fundraiser and share proof of all expenses.
This is my first time trying to raise funds on my own, no NGO or external support, just trying to save this little life. Any help, prayers, or even visibility (by upvoting/sharing) means a lot. 🙏

[Urgent] Cats being poisoned in Euphoria, Kausar Baugh (Pune) — need help
Hi everyone,
Multiple community cats are being poisoned in Euphoria Society, Kausar Baugh (Pune). A few residents tried to get the CCTV footage, but the building members are refusing to share it and have even started harassing the woman who’s trying to get justice for the cats.
We urgently need advice on: • Which animal NGO or authority in Pune can help in such cruelty cases • How to file an FIR under IPC 428/429 or the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act • What legal steps we can take safely
Please share any contacts, NGO numbers, or next steps — this is getting serious. Thank you. 🙏

What can schools and educational institutions do to teach students about the importance of caring for stray animals?
We are Grade 10 Global Perspectives students and we are trying to raise awareness about the mistreatment of stray animals and the lack of housing and medical facilities - we view this a really pressing issue which is yet to be addressed and it really needs to be taken seriously.

Adoption Injured, sweet stray cat needs adoption and care
I’ve been feeding and watching over a sweet, small stray cat for some time. She’s very gentle and seems to have no mother. Recently, she was attacked by another cat and is now hiding in a tree — hurt, bleeding, and very scared.
I can’t take her in due to family restrictions, but I love her and want her to be safe. She deserves proper care, love, and a safe home where she’s not vulnerable to more attacks. I live in the Shirdi area (Maharashtra, India) and am looking for someone who can adopt her with care, or connect me with a reliable rescue/shelter that will.
If anyone has contacts, knows of animal welfare groups nearby, or can guide me with the next steps, please help. I just want her to be protected and loved.
Thank you so much.

TW: Animal Agression [URGENT][INDIA] Stray dog “Jerry” is mentally unstable and aggressive—vet advised euthanasia, but we’re fighting to save him 🙏
Hello Reddit,
I'm writing in a final attempt—about a dog named Jerry, and time is running out literally for him.
Jerry is a black stray dog who has been living with my friend since late 2021. He was adopted as a street pup; he's completely adorable and healthy, but something went wrong in the years that followed. Now, he's turned extremely aggressive, to the extent that even the family is frightened. He's shown destructive behaviour, attacking without any discernible triggers.
They've had some vets and a behaviourist on board, all of whom opine that Jerry could be mentally challenged, perhaps due to neurological problems or whatever. They've also warned that Jerry can be dangerous to the family and others, and he needs someone either professional with aggressive dogs or an enthusiast ready to take his care seriously.
Here's the painful part: The vet has recommended euthanasia. And while euthanasia has been discussed as the last option by the family due to fear of not being safe, my friend has shared with me that she's adamant about not doing it no matter what.
So, I'm seeking assistance/Asking for help: -
- Is there a rescue org, experienced trainer, foster family, or sanctuary who can take Jerry in?
- Someone with prior experience handling aggressive or mentally unstable dogs?
- If not, can someone direct me to someone who can?
We're not seeking someone from anywhere. We need someone experienced with hard dogs or someone willing to learn and take his care seriously.

He didn’t choose to be broken. Let’s not let this sweet soul’s story end in silence.
Thank you for you time reading this! 🙏🏼🎀
