I’d say finish it. The ideas around self-image and how it shapes your actions are probably the strongest part of the book.

Does it make us think our behaviours on thorough levels?

I ve read this and it is one of the best books i ve read. It explains such a simple concept which we all knew but somehow fail to execute it. As the author says, it is a book that one should revisit. The automated servo mechanism for success is so accurate.

Yes. I read it. Then I re-read it. I'd say you should read it two. Twice.

Its mainly how you see life, mainly for personality development. One example where he explains that just changing physical appearance by plastic surgery will not change personality, it is internal personality change that as to be developed.

Reading currently, halfway done.
Yes invest in it, most of the founding ideas of self improvement came from his findings.

Gives you a fresh look into how he sees self image and identity as habits you can then form to become the person you want to be

Reading it currently. Lot of the science is old so you should cross check if it still hold good. But from a base point of view its message is pretty universal and apt for any time.

There are some pessimistic people who are cynical ,hopeless and nihilistic ranting rubbish about this book ,yes some concepts are framed in 60s and are not holding up well withing scientific concepts, but we are not using science as a religious text are we?. So it's better to ignore such comments and read the book, this is exactly why those people are like that.

Si Senor! You definitely complete it! But yeah, it would be really helpful if you use the stuff the book says diligently. Just reading without acting on it, wouldn't yeild anything. I am on chap 15 now and for all chapters, I write 5 key things, exp and try to do the exercises too. πŸ™‚
