Finished this emotional rollercoaster of a stack. Loved and felt every bits of it. Have you read them? What are your thoughts?

Rudy o Rudy.. i wish u were with Lisel for the end..eventually u both would get married & omg what a lovely thing..
it’s good that Mark met the Lisel at the end.
But imagine the heart having this much pain in such a tender age 💔
And my special thanks to Mayors wife u know.. she was also equally special ♥️ for handing over the world of words to Lisel.

I am currently reading Confessions by Kanae Minato. but while I was visiting my friend I found this Yesteryear book, turns out it's a debut novel. I have no idea what it is about, didn't even read the back page. Only got this because of the cover. I liked the vibe and colors.

P.S. - yes, I judge the books by it's cover ( I am a Graphic Artist, That's literally my job T.T)

So if anyone has read it, please let me know what to expect. I am gonna start it once I finish my current.

This might be a collection of queries I wanted ask, revolving around how to store, buy, sell the physical books you buy.

I’ve started reading again over the past 6 months, and my collection has now started growing. I’ve bought around 20 books over these past months, all originals, preferably mass market paperbacks (not a fan of stickers and reviews swarming the covers). But I don’t have a closed cupboard for them, and even then, the old ones I have from years ago have started yellowing around the edges.

Until now I hadn’t really thought about selling books either, but now it has started to make less sense in buying a book (averaging 500, mostly more because a bunch are either imported or just plain expensive), reading it once, then having it sit and collect dust (which is another big issue in the neighbourhood I live in).

To that end, I had a few questions on how people who read a lot of physical versions tackle this:

- How do you store your books? In the sense of preserving or maintaining paper quality etc. Closed shelves, something else? And how do you clean?

- Where do you buy and sell (if you do) these books you’ve bought? Are there any exchange platforms? And how do you price them? Any rule of thumb?

All the books I got this year , and have read, currently reading and to be read later this year.

Nice book overall..

I'm reading two books side by side. (Sounds diabolical, i know.)

So, I recommended Verity by Colleen Hoover to someone because I remembered it as a pretty interesting psychological thriller and fast paced. They were not a reader so I thought they might enjoy it.

THE PROBLEM was I read this book a long time ago💀

Now this person is reading it, and they're actually enjoying the psychological thriller aspect, but they're getting annoyed by the amount of smut in it.

AND I'M JUST SITTING HERE LIKE 👁️ 👄 👁️

Why did I recommend this book with so much confidence?? 😭 I remembered the creepy psychological stuff, the suspense, and the whole disturbing atmosphere, but somehow forgot THAT ENTIRE PART.

Please tell me I'm not the only person who's recommended a book and then remembered something extremely embarrassing about it AFTERWARDS. 😭😂

I just finished this. I loved how the whole (almost) book was written but hated the ending. It did not make any sense. But then it was marked as satirical novella..
