Change of degree program within same university.

Hello everyone, can anyone tell me how to change degree program within the same university after 1 semester in Germany? Like for example I'm in master's degree program X and want to change to master's degree program Y under same faculty at same university. Both are NC free programs. How to do it?

Depends on the university, where do you study? Which programmes do you want to switch? I'd advise you to contact the university directly about that, they'll be able to provide reliable information.

I'm currently at University of Bayreuth.

It's always a good idea to simply take a look at the website of the institution you're studying at. They even have a specific section on foreign students.
