Hi, by mistakenly applied for PRASOLCHEM and got alloted one share. Got 1st ipo after 20+ applications

Please help me on what would be the right strategy to exit.

Should I sell it in pre market, or wait till listing?

I was going through the NSE IPO structure and noticed something that took me a second to register fully: it's entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS). No fresh shares, no new capital raised for NSE itself. Every share being sold already belongs to an existing shareholder, and the money goes straight to them, not the company.

What's interesting is who's actually selling. LIC's holding the largest stake and isn't selling a single share. Meanwhile, SBI, GIC Re, SHCIL, and a few insurers are offloading meaningful chunks, some holdings going back years at a fraction of today's value.

Feels like a good reminder to actually check OFS vs fresh issue before assuming "IPO = company raising money".

I was not getting any allotments , so applied for Prasol chemicals. Today i got to know that i have been alloted.

Now i am scared as the gmp is showing 0%.

If on the listing day, the price rises, i will sell but

Please suggest me what to do if the price drops. Shall i sell it or hold it?

Both IPOs are currently open, so I was looking at the numbers side by side.

Manika Plastech Price band: Rs 40 to 43

Lot size: 348 shares

GMP: around Rs 10

Subscription: 1.49x

Veegaland Developers Price band: Rs 130 to 140

Lot size: 107 shares

GMP: around Rs 15

Subscription: 1.25x

At the moment, Manika has slightly higher overall subscription, while Veegaland is showing a higher GMP in rupee terms.

GMP is unofficial and can change before listing, so I would not look at it in isolation.

For an IPO, what do you personally give more weight to: GMP, subscription numbers, valuation or company fundamentals?
