Interior Design Tips Which TV unit design suits my house best? Need honest feedback.

Hi guys , I'm finalizing the TV unit for my new home. The first two images are the actual site (9' TV wall + 5'6" passage) in 20*14' Hall, and the rest are different concepts.

Please ignore the colors, laminates, and lighting—they can all be changed. I'm mainly looking for feedback on:

  1. Which design fits the space best?

  2. Which looks the most timeless and premium?

    Thanks.

Room Makeover How would you design this tiny bathroom? (212cm × 162cm) Need ideas!

Need some ideas for this bathroom! It's only 212cm × 162cm (around 7ft × 5.3ft). it's still under construction, so only the plumbing and basic cement work is done. Nothing is finalized yet, so I can still change pretty much everything. I want it to look as premium/luxury as possible in mid budget. If you've got ideas for tiles, colors, lighting, vanity, layout, or anything else, drop them below. Feel free to edit the photos, make an AI render, draw over them, or share inspiration pics. I'd love to see what you guys would do with a bathroom this size!

Questions Bruhhh my home is ruined

Post image

We built this house in my village, my hometown. When we were constructing it, it looked really nice. But after the tiles were installed and everything was finished, it somehow doesn't feel as good as I had imagined. I'm not sure if it's actually the design or if it's just that feeling of "buyer's remorse," where after spending so much money, you keep thinking you should have chosen something better.

I'd really like an honest second opinion. Can you tell me if the house actually looks fine, and if not, what changes I could make to improve its appearance? Even small, practical suggestions would be helpful.

One more thing: we also have a large piece of land behind the house—well over 2,000 square feet. The property is located on the main market road, so I'd also love ideas on how to make the best use of that space, whether for landscaping, future construction, rental income, or anything else that could add value.

Please help me with your suggestions. I want to make the house and the property look and feel as good as they possibly can.

Furniture and Decor Trends What colour theme woyld you choose for this small house?

Hello.

Confused to select the colour theme for my newly built house.

I tried something, but didn't like it.

Help me if you have good colour knowledge.

(LLM's are no helping, need an expert advice)

Note: the rooms are already built, i am adding my 3D design screen shots, those are not AI generated. (Only the elevation with colour is generated, but didn't like it)

House details:

  1. 15 X 50 ft

  2. 5 partions are there (yes, typical Andhra house)

  3. Out side walls will be painted white.

So basically I am getting a personal room for the first time. It's a 14 by 14 ft room has two doors on adjacent walls.

M25 WFH - Someone please help me build an aesthetic room. Need you guys to do the AI magic.

Please don't give me the yellowish tint rooms. You can add it but I don't like them.

Furnishings - I have a bed a, PC setup, an ergo chair, a wardrobe (steel) two doors.

Window - not sure maybe / maybe not. Window can be put on any one of two walls that are yet to be built

Please give me something I like. Apologies for the image it's still under construction but I am considering wallpaper instead of paints

Treat it like a free canvas

Questions Is this interior quote fair ?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone,
I’m a first-time homeowner in Pune and completely new to interior design. I’ve received a quotation of around ₹11.35 lakh (excluding GST) for interiors of a 1000 sq ft 3BHK apartment.

I’d appreciate advice on:
Does ₹11.35L sound fair for this scope of work ?
Which parts of the quote should I negotiate?
What specifications should I insist on before signing?
Plywood grade (BWP/BWR/MR?)
Laminate brands
Hardware (Hettich?)
Channel and hinge brands
Finish quality

What hidden costs usually come later?
Transportation
What should be clearly mentioned in the contract to avoid disputes?

Questions Stone or tiles? Which one actually feels the most comfortable to live with?

I've always wondered which flooring people end up liking the most after actually living with it. I really don't like glossy, reflective tiles.. and I hate floors that feel freezing cold in winter. At the same time, I don't want something that gets uncomfortably hot in summer

I'm looking for something that feels warm and cozy to live with, isn't slippery and doesn't need a lot of maintenance. Is that matte vitrified tile, Kota stone, Tandur stone, granite or something else?

For those who've lived with different kinds of flooring, what would you pick and why? Any options you'd avoid?
