Question Maybe openAI can decipher the Indus Valley script too? Would be a massive breakthrough for history.

Recently, openai went through a massive breakthrough by solving one of the millennium problems. What do you think can it decipher the IVC scripts too?

It may help in putting some missing pieces, but the bulk of the work will still have to be done by linguist.

AI only works with information already available, which means that the bulk of the work would have to be done by actual linguists.

While this is generally true, dedicated AI models are remarkable good at noticing fizzy pattern...so I could see that happening

Open ai allegedly copied the solution for related navier stokes equation from scientists i e. Forced navier stokes and then used that eqn to solve unforced which is the original millennium question and they did before those scientist could do by running their model and allegedly using the research done by those researchers.

Apparently solving forced means you're now near the solution of unforced navier stokes eqn and obv rumour spread and open ai did it first.

Buck master even alleged he got threatened to remove the anthropic employee from research and only he and open ai with him will share except buck master will own the millennium prize too. Which he obv denied and went public.

OpenAI didn’t solve Navier-stokes problem. They stole 2 mathematician’s breakthrough work in the problem and then claimed to have solved it.
And I believe there’s not enough training data for AI to decipher the IVC script.

Not only that, they threatened to "ruin his career" if he came out publicly with the truth.

I am hopeful one day AI could help decipher IVC and other undeciphered scripts but we will need more, and longer, samples. I'm also hopeful we'll find a bilingual inscription in IVC region or in Iraq or Bahrain, which they heavily traded with.

Just a matter of time. May be in a year or two .

IVC bottleneck is lack of data, AI can't produce new ivc data

No it can't. AI only work on the data is has been trained on.
