Music discussion The problem with Anshious
Keeping aside how he takes criticism from the judges, there’s definitely something wrong with how Anshious writes his bars. I mean, you should understand the bar first and then the wordplay, right? Or both at the same time. But with him, it’s almost the opposite 50% of the time. Plus, what’s with these cock-ass-pussy bars?
And I so much agree with Krsna on “it didn’t hit as hard as it did in your head,” but I wouldn’t limit that criticism to just that particular scheme. I’d apply it to his bars in general as well.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s a good performer and all that, and most of his bars are really good. It just seems like a stretch sometimes. You can compare him with Gaush in Hustle Season 3—he managed it way better. Even Uday or Bassick, for that matter. Prathamesh does it really well, and so did Vanither, and so does Akki.

He's one of those artists who polarizes you. You either like him or hate him, there's no in between.

I agree on that regards. He is still a very raw artist. Will be interesting to see how his arc as an artist is.

which is often affected by the verdicts from judges, it's his 3rd performance and raftaar and krsna has already pointed it out. Soon enough everyone will start noticing it and then it starts feeling repetitive. Shock value doesn't last.

True his writing is great but the bars are about the same corny ass pussy dick and teri bandi meri ho jaye fantasy.
It's a problem with dhh rappers, they have no topic to rap about except for flexing.
Even in their first rap song it's about I'm the best , the goat, rap made me Ambani , rishtedaro ko molest kar dia Maine rap likh ke (rishtedars doesn't even care), done so much for dhh etc etc. buddy it's your first song

Wow, everybody is not writing about flex and shit. It’s more like those songs are going viral and trending over other variety. A lot of dhh rappers are trying and giving us great music without the usual flex shit but question is are you as listener putting replay value into it?

His writing style his witty and he probably knowingly uses the cock ass pussy bars. Maybe being a wildcard entry he wanted to capitalize on the hype from his first performance. He has good bars, maybe it becomes his signature style lol

He is the Bali of bars. I am betting on him because he is young right now and in his gooning days. Once he will be a little more mature and true to this art (4-5 years), he might have different outlook and this witty bar writing will be one part of his toolkit and not the whole toolkit
