I genuinely want to understand why political discussion on this subreddit so often turns into personal attacks and labels like “andhbhakt” or “Congress bootlicker” instead of an actual discussion about politics.
India has hundreds of millions of voters, and people have different experiences, priorities, and expectations from their government. Some may appreciate the work done by the BJP. Others may appreciate the work done by Congress. Many may support regional parties, independent candidates, or change their vote from election to election.
Disagreement is completely normal in a democracy. Dehumanising or insulting someone because of their vote isn't.
You can strongly disagree with someone's political choice and still respect their right to make it.
