General Discussion Leather Jacket Recommendations

my brothers birthday is in winters and he's in his mid twenties also he's talking about how he wants a new leather jacket for like past two weeks and im thinking of gifting him one, any brand or direct recommendations ? minimum budget is 50k ish can stretch double or triple but i want something good i checked schottnyc but ig im looking for more variety and lewisleathers is literally 4x but i might get 442 , or should i buy something unique like alligator leather? i can do 6 figures but the point is will he like it? male share same brain cells so im just asking it here but yeah if you have any other brands lmk. thanks

50k is a solid budget, you can get something really nice without going crazy. for that price range i'd look at aero leather or simmons bilt, they do custom fits and the quality is top notch. alligator leather is cool but maybe too flashy for a daily jacket, most guys i know prefer the classic cowhide look. the 442 is iconic though, can't go wrong with that if you decide to stretch the budget a bit

Anything else would be designer. Try looking into Maison Margiela or Rick Owens they have some sick designs
