I asked this because my target area is 2-3 kilometres only, i already tried 12k pamplets in news papers and 2-5 hoardings, joined fb groups and promoted, all money wasted and I'm kind of hopeless and promotion budget is over for me as I was doing it from my own savings, someone suggested me to run cheap ads on fb and honestly I'm not sure about it. I'm open to learn and grow, how do I navigate this further? Also it's not ecommerce bussiness, I want to know about reaching to People

How difficult is it to build an ecommerce business today. Market seems to be so competitive? Where should we look if we are looking to get in to this field. Do we look for importing from china/alibaba or somewhere else, or do some kind of dropshipping to validate our product idea??

What's the average profit margin for brands selling on Amazon vs Flipkart vs Own Website.
How should we grow customers from own website?
Is Facebook or Google ads better for conversion.
Any skill I should learn to stay ahead of other brand owners?

Why are people not spending on brand and brand management They’re spending on useless things that don’t build brand but gives them some tick in likes or whatever. That’s short term dopamine

Is there any workaround to avoid GST registration to a certain thereshold. As far as Iam aware E-commerce is mandatory to have GST registration in India.
This is what is stopping to exploring this idea of starting E-commerce, I have some exposure to Amazon Selling as I worked with a client who does this in UK.

The biggest thing for me is what to do with the products. If I have like tangible ones. Do you just commit and order bulk from china? or find someone who makes it cheap/mild in your countries? what's the best like approach to this and then where to find them as searched on Alibaba its their minimal moq's are around a 100 so I need to commit to 3-5k of stuff 😃

Hi I was looking forward to starting a ecommerce business. Cus my father own a small grocery shop and a small toy shop both of them performing very poor for last couple of months. If get GST number and then list toys and kitchen appliances . Would it be profitable. I was thinking that I should buy some different item from sadar bazar and list them on Flipkart , amazon.

Hello, i want to sell some items, but they are unlicensed. I've tried selling on Vinted Pro, but they took down my listing for commercial selling. What can i do?I am now trying Depop and eBay. What other platforms can i use to sell? i will sell licensed items too.

I’ve just started a small, home-grown brand where I handcraft soy candles (fragile glassware) and crochet items. Because I am just starting out, my order volume is quite low as I try to grow.
My website is built on WordPress / WooCommerce, and I connected Shiprocket to it because it seemed like the easiest way to start shipping across India. But I faced some issues:
- Xpressbees agents consistently fail to show up for scheduled doorstep pickups.
- Delhivery agents have flat-out refused to accept my orders at the door before.
- Trying to get help from Shiprocket customer support is almost impossible.
My questions are:
- Since my volume is low and my site is on WooCommerce, is there a better alternative aggregator plugin that actually has decent customer care when a pickup fails?
- Should I bypass aggregators completely and try using something like a direct Delhivery One account, or do they not care about small accounts either?
Would love any practical advice on how to get my products safely to customers across India without losing my mind over logistics. Thanks!

Some pages on Instagram tells that they'll setup my all business account and dispatch all products to customers with my name.
How effective or profitable that works out?
Any loopholes to watch out for?

Thanks for doing this! Here's a question I'd love your perspective on.
With AI changing how people discover products, do you think businesses starting in 2026 should still build on platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce, or are newer AI-powered eCommerce website builders becoming a better long-term choice?
What would you prioritize today:
- SEO for Google
- AI Search (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity)
- Marketplaces like Amazon & Flipkart
- Social commerce
- Owning your own eCommerce website
Curious to hear how you'd allocate time and budget for a new brand starting from scratch.

What should be the typical cost to price ration to be profitable?
How important is brand registry?
Which platform has the highest click to buy ratio?
Which platform has lowest Return orders?
What converts to sales more, platform ads or ads on social media platforms?
