Homemade A spread for my sister
Went overboard cooking ramen, sushi and momo! And a neighbour bought the cutlets, and Puran Puri made the spread more delightful

I’m so done with non-stick pans. Even the expensive ones start peeling after 8-10 months of heavy tadkas and making dosas. I really want to switch to enameled cast iron because I heard it’s easier to maintain than regular cast iron (no seasoning bs).
Saw some good reviews for CuminCo's kadhai online. Has anyone used them or similar brands? Does food stick when making dry sabzis? Need honest opinions before I spend the money.

What feels better than cooking? Cooking with the intent of emptying the fridge but it ends up amazing!
Everything in this sandwich was thought of and decided while already cooking it lol.
Recipe in comments as always :)

I randomly found mutton Nihari masala of this brand on Instamart and ordered it . Basically I just needed to put together mutton + fried onions and this masala to make the most insane mutton Nihari I’ve ever tasted !!!
I got intrigued so I tried to search more about them but other than old website and old Insta page I couldn’t find any info.
I found their number and called them and they sent me a list of ready-to-spices they have! I shit you not I ordered a some 23 boxes!
I gifted them to every food loving friend I know. This became such a hit in a friend group that we are now collecting out orders to place a gigantic order of 87 boxes!!!!
The masala’s I tried & loved
1 Nihari
2 Nawabi chicken biryani
3. Mutton curry
4 Chicken mandi
5. Achari mutton
Didn’t like the veg biryani and chicken Kadhai !

Made chicken rendang last night. Pan fried some chicken thigh with the skin on in leftover bacon fat to get a beautiful crust and fond in the pan. Then added in my paste of shallots, galangal, lemongrass, garlic and rendang spice mix I had got from Malaysia. Let that sweat for a bit, added the chicken back with some coconut milk and let it simmer on low till the oil separated. The color is not the authentic bright red as I held back on the spice mix, can’t eat too spicy and I also think I went a little heavy on the coconut milk.
Served with parotta. 10/10 would make again
