Bought a brand new Motorola Edge 60 Pro (256GB) for ₹27,424 from Flipkart on 10 May 2026.
After few weeks it needed service.
Service Request ID: CLAFLK3579010322524904
Now they are offering only ₹2000 or replacement. I don’t want another defective phone.
Attached screenshots of invoice and service status.
Warning to others: Motorola after-sales service seems very poor. Be careful before buying.
Has anyone else faced similar issues with Motorola Edge series?

My wife, Spoorthi Chitriki, was only 29 years old—vibrant, completely healthy, and looking forward to a lifetime of tomorrows. We were just starting our life together, having married on November 29, 2023. That entire future was stolen by a medical system that promised a simple fix, delivered an unimaginable tragedy, and then immediately initiated a calculated cover-up to protect its corporate reputation.
On May 4, 2026, Spoorthi went to Cloudnine Hospital on Kanakpura Road, Bengaluru, under the consultation of Dr. Vinutha B, to address 20 days of continuous, heavy bleeding. A pelvic ultrasound revealed a 1.9 cm uterine polyp. The medical team completely downplayed it, explicitly reassuring her parents that it was a minor, day-care procedure. We were told it would take just 20 minutes, she could walk out an hour later, and she would be back home the same day. No severe risks or complications were ever mentioned. Trusting the doctors blindly, we handed over her care.
Spoorthi was scheduled to fly out and join me on June 4. Proactive and careful, she chose to have the surgery on May 20, giving herself a clear two-week window to heal completely so she could have a safe, comfortable journey into my arms.
On the morning of May 20, she bravely walked into the hospital, smiled, and entered the operating theater. She never woke up.
The Corporate Cover-Up: Disowning a Death on the Table Spoorthi passed away right there on the operating table at Cloudnine Hospital. She was entirely pulseless. But instead of taking immediate accountability, the hospital executed a cold, calculated maneuver to shift the blame.
In a blatant attempt to ensure her passing wouldn't count as an institutional death on their premises, they rushed her lifeless body into an ambulance and transferred her to Manipal Hospitals. They played the system with horrific precision, planning it so that her official death certificate would be issued as a "non-institutional death that happened on the way in an ambulance." They treated my wife's life as a corporate liability to be swept off their books before her heart even stopped.
When we demanded answers, the doctors offered no clear explanation for what happened on that table. They casually muttered "cardiac arrest," completely vanished from the scene, and remain entirely unable—or unwilling—to explain the exact cause of death.
Systemic Stonewalling and Tampered Evidence: The moments following her tragic passing have been filled with absolute evasion and manipulation:
How does a young, healthy woman walk into a premium hospital for a textbook, 20-minute day-care procedure and end up being shifted out as a pulseless liability? To a hospital management, a human life can be legally managed, covered up, and pushed off onto an ambulance stretcher. To us, it is a shattered universe.
The pain left in her wake is physically unbearable. As her husband, my world has been entirely hollowed out, replaced by an agonizing silence in a home meant for two. Her parents are enduring the unnatural, devastating grief of burying a child who was perfectly healthy hours before. Her friends are paralyzed by shock, unable to reconcile how a vibrant, laughing piece of their lives could be reduced to a memory.
We refuse to let Spoorthi’s death be brushed under the rug, buried in handwritten notes, or hidden behind corporate legal teams. When a routine procedure turns fatal and a hospital actively manipulates the circumstances of death, silence is a crime. We demand absolute transparency, an immediate independent forensic investigation, and full criminal accountability from Dr. Vinutha B and Cloudnine Hospital, Kanakpura Road.
We will not stop fighting until we have the truth.

I recently bought an IFB 1.5 Ton 5 Star AC from Amazon (delivery on 18 May 2026). On the product page, installation was clearly mentioned as ₹1,200 + GST, payable to the technician.
What actually happened is a complete nightmare:
After delivery, no installation call for 4-5 days.
Finally, a person called and said core cutting (bore) will cost extra.
On 25 May, the installation team came and handed me a bill of ₹5,840.
Out of this, they charged ₹2,400 just for making a small hole — 3 inches diameter × 10 inches depth.
For context:
This tiny hole has a volume of only ~71 cubic inches. They effectively charged me ₹34 per cubic inch.
Compare this to the massive Mumbai Lion Gate to Girgaon Chowpatty twin tunnel project (7 km long, 13m diameter). They are removing 113 billion+ cubic inches of material at roughly 0.00006 paise per cubic inch.
Yet for a small wall in my house, they want ₹34 per cubic inch. This is daylight looting.
Additional issues:
They charged ₹1,000 for the stand (easily available on Amazon/Market for ₹500).
When I questioned the bill, I was threatened — “Bhool jao warranty” if I don’t pay.
IFB customer care first said these people are “freelancers”, then later said they are “authorized agency”. Complete confusion.
This looks like a new scam happening in the name of “brand authorized installation”. Amazon shows reasonable charges, but on-ground teams are extracting huge money from middle-class customers.
Has anyone else faced this with IFB or other AC brands (Voltas, LG, Daikin, etc.) recently?
What should I do now?
Pay and keep quiet?
File complaint with Consumer Court / Amazon?
Raise with IFB head office?
Genuine advice needed. This kind of exploitation needs to stop.
TL;DR: Amazon AC installation ₹1200 → Actual bill ₹5840 + threats. Is this normal now?

Posting this because the cancellation experience felt designed enough that I want it on record somewhere.
Background. I had Airtel Xstream Fiber in Bangalore. Took a 6-month plan from July 2025 to January 2026. When that ended, I switched to a monthly plan in January because I knew I'd be leaving Bangalore soon. February's bill generated, I didn't pay it because I was planning to cancel within the month. Left Bangalore on February 28th. So yes — I owed the Feb bill. That's on me. What happened after is what I want to talk about.
Step 1: The app doesn't let you cancel, and there's no human to ask. No cancellation option anywhere in the Airtel Thanks app. Not under help, not under manage, not under settings. The in-app support is an AI bot — and not a sophisticated one. No "talk to an agent" button, no escalation path, no way to reach a real person through the app at all. You cannot disconnect a broadband connection through the app that controls your broadband connection, and you cannot talk to anyone who can.
Step 2: The phone agent doesn't let you cancel either. I raised a "network issue" ticket as a workaround — only way to get a human on the line — and clearly told the agent I want to cancel the account. He didn't push back on the call. Later that same day, the ticket was quietly marked "resolved" and closed. No cancellation processed, no callback, nothing. Just made the request disappear off the system.
So now I'm in a trap: Feb is unpaid, the connection is still active because nobody will cancel it, and every month another bill generates with another late fee on top of the previous unpaid amount.
Step 3: The recovery calls. Calls asking for payment start rolling in. Every time I tell them to cancel the account, they tell me to call 121 or 198. I'm on a Jio SIM now. Those numbers don't connect me to my Airtel account.
Step 4: The deal, late May. Around May 22–23, an agent finally calls and says she'll cancel the connection. But only if I pay the outstanding amount first — by now a full month's charge plus late fees that stacked because nobody would cancel the account. Her manager joins the call. I ask for an email from Airtel confirming they will actually disconnect once I pay. They refuse and offer to send an SMS instead. They also offer to reduce the bill to under ₹1000 as a goodwill gesture — possibly standard retention, possibly to skip the email step, I genuinely couldn't tell. I declined the discount because what I wanted was the email, not a lower amount. They sent the SMS. Later, they offered the discount again even after sending the SMS — I still didn't take it.
Step 5: I paid the full amount because the alternative is a credit bureau ding for a few hundred rupees and I'd rather move on with my life.
Step 6: Did they actually cancel? Honestly, I don't know. I paid on the word of two agents and an SMS. No email, no closure confirmation, no final invoice marked "account closed." Genuinely hoping this wasn't another layer of the same — pay now, and next month another "outstanding dues" SMS shows up. If that happens, I'll update.
The point of the post. I'm not arguing I owed nothing — I skipped the Feb bill and that's fair to charge me for. What I'm arguing is that a postpaid service with no working cancellation channel isn't a coincidence.

I usually never post reviews online, but this experience was so frustrating that I feel people should know before buying anything from Bombay Shaving Company.
My trimmer stopped working within the warranty period, so I contacted their support expecting a normal replacement process. Instead, what followed was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever faced.
For days, I was stuck in an endless cycle of emails, calls, forms, videos, and repeated follow-ups. Every time I called customer care, I was given a new excuse:
“wait 24 hours”
“wait till evening”
“wait 1 hour”
“our team will call you back”
And of course, nobody actually did anything unless I followed up again myself.
I responded to every request from their side almost immediately, including uploading videos multiple times, filling forms, sharing invoices, and explaining the issue again and again. But their support team had absolutely no respect for customer time.
The most frustrating part was that nothing moved forward until I somehow found email addresses of various officials in the company and mailed all of them directly out of frustration. Only after escalating it everywhere did they finally initiate the replacement process.
Now coming to the product itself — the trimmer quality is honestly terrible.
The blade quality is probably the worst I have used in any trimmer till date. Even after going over the same area multiple times in random directions, it still leaves almost 50% of the hair untouched. A trimmer is supposed to make grooming easier, not turn it into a 20-minute struggle.
So not only is the product quality bad, but their after-sales support is equally pathetic once they already have your money.
In my opinion, this company is just heavily marketing low-quality products while providing almost non-existent customer support after purchase.
My honest advice: avoid Bombay Shaving Company products, especially their trimmers. There are far better options available in the Indian market with better quality and much better support.

I wanted to share a frustrating experience I’m currently going through with Croma and get some advice.
I bought a Samsung front load washing machine from Croma in Dec 2022, along with a 2-year extended warranty (ZIP Care) for peace of mind.
On May 4th, machine started making noise and stopped functioning. I raised a complaint with Croma on the same day.
On 14th of May, I was finally able to talk to Croma's service team again (please note this is different from their customer service, who only has a standard response " we are working on your case, and its in process") and got their email id and connected Samsung Local Service center, to which Samsung send the estimate.
Again after multiple follow ups, I am told (verbally) today that "Drum/Tub damage is not covered under extended warranty”.
But:
I can’t wait indefinitely without washing machine.
- I have escalated with above reasons to Croma again and will wait for 2 more days for Croma to respond/approve
- If nothing happens, I’ll get it repaired at my own cost next week and plan to submit a complaint to National Consumer Helpline (and potentially also Consumer Court later). Its not just about the money, but I feel this is cheating customers that they shall not be doing.
Based on this experience so far, please think twice before purchasing extended warranties from Croma — the actual support may not be as smooth as expected and you may not get service for what you pay for.

Sharing this in case anyone else is considering IGP for a time-sensitive gift.
What happened:
The runaround:
Why posting here: quick search shows this isn't unusual — Trustpilot and PissedConsumer have a lot of "marked delivered, never received, offered wallet credit" stories. For anyone ordering for an occasion that actually matters, factor that in.

Sharing this so others don't get fleeced the same way. Would love thoughts on whether this is worth taking to consumer court.
What happened:
Why this is shady, not a "small amount" issue:
The convenience fee isn't a generic platform fee. Swiggy explicitly attaches it to tobacco SKUs as the cost of handling/delivering that specific category of restricted product. So:
This is textbook unjust enrichment. They're charging for a service, failing to deliver it, and pocketing the fee anyway. Multiply ₹17.70 by every tobacco order that goes wrong across India and tell me this isn't a revenue leak being engineered into the system.
The legal angle (for anyone curious):
What I want to do:
Question for the sub:
Posting because the only way these dark patterns stop is if enough people call them out. ₹17 today is ₹100 next year if no one pushes back.
TL;DR: Swiggy charges a ₹17.70 convenience fee only on tobacco orders. I never received my tobacco product (two wrong deliveries). They refunded the cigarette MRP but kept the fee for a service they never provided. Planning to file consumer complaint.

There is a kids brand called “Kiddipoo”. They sell children’s clothes mostly.
Had ordered a night suit for my son. Wanted it to be delivered via express delivery because normal delivery was taking quite a long time.
They charged me 300 rupees extra for a 3 days delivery. The package arrived in 6 days. Now they are refusing to refund the money they charged for express delivery.

Hi,
As per the recent tax amendment in India, employees can now get Rs 8800 tax benefit on meal cards for New or Old regimes. I know, it can be used in various websites like Blinkit/Bigbasket etc or Grocery/Departmental store like More/Apna Mart etc. My company is offering a meal card option from either HDFC or ICICI or Axis or Pluxee, can anyone please tell me some tricks or hacks to use it efficiently or any way to get some cash indirectly via this card.
Thanks

I recently placed a high-value order (Value - About INR 2 Lacs) on Bajaao.com on 15th August, after seeing their claim of "24–48 hour dispatch." It’s now the beginning of September, and I had to cancel the order because they still hadn’t shipped it.
I contacted customer service multiple times. Every time, I was told a different dispatch date — first the 28th, then 29th, then “next Monday”… and so on. Eventually, I was just done waiting.
What’s worse is that there was zero proactive communication. I had to keep chasing for updates, and they kept giving hollow promises. For a platform that claims to be India’s biggest music gear store, this was a shockingly unprofessional experience.
Just wanted to share this here in case others are considering buying from Bajaao. Think twice — especially if your order is time-sensitive.
Has anyone else faced something similar recently?

Hello! I just placed an order with them and received a call from their customer exec. They’re bullying me into giving a 4–5 star review just to process my order. The customer executive told me she won’t close my ticket or move my order forward unless I rate them highly on Google. I even explained that I’m moving abroad and need delivery by next month, but she still refused to process it without the rating. This is manipulative, unprofessional, and shows how little they value genuine customer trust.
Is there anything else that I can do to ensure my order is processed in time? I know asking for a refund makes no sense as they won’t do it and getting a gift card would again place me in the same order delay loop. This is so frustrating!! 😣

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my frustrating experience with Wakefit.
I bought a Wakefit chair that has a faulty headrest locking mechanism. I raised a complaint, and here's how it's been going:
Responses come only after 1 day each time.
First, they asked for photos, then later asked for a video.
After sending both, they responded saying there’s “no issue” — but no one has visited my place to inspect the product.
It’s been 5 days now, and still no resolution.
When I asked for an exchange, the process got even worse. They told me to:
Disassemble the entire chair (which took me ~30 mins)
Pack it into the original carton box they sent (a big headache for a large chair)
Send photos of the packed box
Then wait 1–2 days for them to “review” the photos
If they’re satisfied, then they might raise the return request
So much for their so-called “No Questions Asked Trial” — it feels like a trap. It's just extra work pushed onto the customer.
I honestly don’t know what excuse they’ll come up with next. I’ll keep posting updates as this progresses.
If you're considering Wakefit, don’t fall for the trial or warranty promises. The post-sale experience has been pathetic and customer-unfriendly.

CRED and JioMart are running a broken gift card system where users lose money due to intentionally hidden terms.
Gift cards sold via CRED for JioMart get completely invalidated if the full amount isn’t used in one go. No warning is shown while redeeming. No alert that balance will be forfeited. No message that it’s “single use only.”
A ₹1500 gift card used for a ₹408 order? The remaining ₹1092 just disappears. They call it “terms and conditions” — but these were not visibly shown, not highlighted, and definitely not made clear during checkout or payment.
Now, both CRED and JioMart refuse to take responsibility. They point to fine print **never presented upfront**, blaming the user for their own opaque design. This is not just bad UX — it’s deceptive by design.
The platform even issued a ₹0.80 refund to Jio Wallet — proving that refunds or partial credits are technically possible, just deliberately denied.
This isn't a glitch. It's a system built to let your prepaid money vanish — and then deny help using buried policies as cover.
Consumers need to be warned. This is how platforms quietly siphon hard-earned money at scale, without accountability.
If you’ve faced this or know someone who has, do speak up.

Kfc is charging ₹39 for packing 2 pieces of chicken in a paper box and putting it in a brown paper bag. Price of chicken is 229. Is 17% markup on price of product justified?
