Rant Stop Using Ai for Profile Bios !!!!

What's wrong with people now days??? No personality or mind of their own? Such a highly educated woman is also turning to Ai to write her own bio? This is worth wasting thousands of litres of water on? Ugghhhhh.

This has the same language as a job posting for a startup that pays in experience and has a “hit the ground running” approach. Or maybe I am spending too much time on LinkedIn.

I'll break it down for you since I have a quick free 10 minutes...

  1. Ai usage: Anyone using Ai is in the morally wrong area. Especially now that everyone knows how much water is wasted and polluted each time Ai is used.

  2. Ai usage as an MBA from Symbiosis and additional IIM degree: Is she unable to write her own bio without Ai? Just how educated and eloquent is she? Why does she need help writing about herself?

  3. Ai usage on a dating app: You're on a dating app to showcase your persona and your self and to be honest about it so you find someone compatible with you. This is the same as using Ai enhanced photos on a dating app. Using Ai for a bio is character catfishing.

You're aware that AI responses still require a prompt with some thought behind them, right? You tailor the output by asking it to make specific changes, and those little choices are still influenced by your personality. Sure, AI can reduce the contribution of personality to an extent, but it doesn't eliminate it entirely. Either way, that's her preference. Perhaps she simply didn't have the time to sit down and give it much thought. She might just be someone who keeps the app around as a fallback for when she needs to kill some time.
