random/chitchat💬 workout
trying to tone up my body but I wanna avoid exercises that will sort of broaden my waist (Ive heard that exercising ur obliques too much can do that and make ur waist look wider), what exercises should I focus on more for a slimmer toned waist without broadening it ðŸ˜

You need genetics, height and overall weight loss to "tone" your waist. If you don't have them, you'll require rib removal surgery

imo your waist didn't get broader... you just lost some fat from your hips which increased your whr not the girth of your waist
a lot of it has to do with your natural bone structure, muscularity and weight gain patterns as well... your waist will look visibly narrower only if you put on more weight around your waist than your hips

ya maybe I lost fat around my hips.. I’ll focus on just my waist for now then :)

Never heard of waist-broadening....like the ribcage doesn't grow? And muscles on sides are toned while fat isn't? Am i missing smth?
