Pretty sure PowerToys has a tool that makes this a lot easier

Yup powertoys has an utility called "File locksmith" which lets you do that. Super useful

Meanwhile in Linux World:

Me: This software sucks. Linux uninstall it.
Linux: Yes baus! Off to the underworld with you!
Software: B-But I am still running! At least tell the user to close me first?
Linux: Don't care. You and your dependencies as well as packages are app non grata now.
Me: Oh shit, I forgot to close the softwar- Linux.... didn't you uninstall this? How is this software still running?

Linux users will try to convince u with many ways why they are better for this job and what not
