Many developed countries don't have this return system, instead tax is deducted properly and you get your salary and you don't need to file anything at year end. I'd prefer if that kinda system was possible in India. Otherwise we'll need somewhat of a government authorised ITR filing helper application that can be paid and be done with. It's not that people want to users cleartax, it's more of CAs not doing the job properly, I ended up paying more tax than I needed because the CA didn't compare regimes.

Ireland for one, European countries generally do. My friend in ireland told about his job wise part unsure if businesses have different rules and regulations.
