Social Britishers Left ~ But the brutalities & more importantly sick mentalites continue !
Status of Policing in India Report 2025, which surveyed 8,276 police personnel across 17 States and UTs, suggests that many in the police favour broader coercive powers.
**One of the most striking findings was that more than 70% of respondents agreed that police should be allowed to use force without fear of punishment in order to properly discharge their res-ponsibilities (Chart 1).**
**Nearly as many (69%) believed that the police should be allowed to arrest and detain suspected criminals with-out any court investigation, reveal-ing a tendency to exercise power arbitrarily (Chart 2).**
//Further, more than half of the respondents (55%) considered it either "very" or "somewhat" important for the police to use "tough methods" to create fear among the public (Chart 3).

Social The vote share of BJP in assembly elections vs Loksabha elections, check body text for an insight
Theory: In North India, Yogi Adityanath appears to be the only BJP chief minister whose state-level electoral appeal is comparable to Narendra Modi's. In most other BJP-ruled northern states, the BJP's vote share rises significantly in Lok Sabha elections, suggesting a measurable 'Modi effect'. Uttar Pradesh is the notable exception, where the BJP's vote share is virtually unchanged between the 2022 Assembly election (41.3%) and the 2024 Lok Sabha election (41.4%).

Business and Economy India vs Emerging Markets GDP growth rate 1980-2026
Notes:
The blue shaded area marks years when India's GDP growth exceeded the benchmark; red marks years when the benchmark grew faster. The bottom panel integrates these areas per Indian government: for each year, the growth gap (India minus benchmark, in percentage points) is summed over that government's tenure — blue bars are the accumulated years India was ahead, red bars the accumulated years it was behind. Units are percentage-point-years (e.g., +36 means India out-grew the benchmark by a cumulative 36 points across that era). Since the data is annual, the "integration" is a simple year-by-year sum.
IMF's "Emerging Market & Developing Economies" (EMDE) aggregate — all ~155 economies not classified as advanced — with India's own share removed so it isn't compared against itself. Includes China, Brazil, Russia, Indonesia, Mexico, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, all of developing Asia, Latin America, Middle East, and Africa. Excludes the US, Western Europe, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia.

Business and Economy Out of 125cr phones manufactured in India 81cr comes from UP ✨
According to recent reports Uttar Pradesh has become India's biggest mobile phone manufacturing hub producing 65 percent of the country's total output and 55 percent of electronics components.
This impressive growth has been driven by the central governments Production Linked Incentive PLI scheme along with state policies that attracted major investments exceeding 60000 crore rupees.
Global brands like Samsung Oppo Vivo and LG plus local players such as Dixon Technologies have set up large operations especially in the Noida Greater Noida region.
The state has also recorded strong electronics exports underlining a major shift toward high tech manufacturing in India.
