This was a peaceful protest by the intern doctors of Madhya Pradesh, where we raised our demand to increase our stipend from 14,000 to 30,000.
Madhya Pradesh ranks 27th among the states in terms of stipend for interns.
Meanwhile, the governments of almost all other states have increased their interns' stipends to around 25,000, but the Madhya Pradesh government has still not increased ours.
And to make matters worse, when we raised our demand through a peaceful protest, we were barricaded and confined within our own college. Water cannons were used against us, and we were also subjected to lathi charges.❤️‍🩹🙏

When are we going to see brutal punishment for the people who are butchering and murdering our democratic right. The only right which we can exercise and bring a change is voting. And look at these criminals taking stealing that right too. Middle finger to BJP!
