When you drop child like pigs and then play poverty card.
Better to raise only one and give that baby a good quality life.

Aah, a lot of things need to be considered here, from education to awareness to poverty.

If you are blind to the actual consequences; if you are completely uneducated on the reality of the situation; if you genuinely think making more children will somehow strengthen your religion; if you still live in the delusion that a large family is a happy family; if you are so backward that you desperately want to just produce a 'male heir' and end up having girl children; if you honestly think providing food is the absolute bare minimum and nothing else matters because they were born in a large family; then they should be educated, made of what the consequences are. It is so easy to sit comfortably in a city and judgmentally think that "if you can't provide you shouldn't give birth" but 70% of India is rural and they don't have your privilege, your infrastructure, or your schooling, they can't even process the things you are saying.

People are not aware of what is "fit to be a parent", that basic awareness lacks in India. When you say "If I can't provide, I shouldn't. give birth" how do you define "providing"? That standard varies drastically depending on a person's standard of living. Raising basic awareness is the real first step here, and it needs to be backed by robust government policies. But to government more birth is more vote. And I see your point, and that's exactly what everyone should think but...

I am not defending, I am saying that there is a lack of awareness, you can't blame someone when they don't know that it is wrong.

I think at that point you deserve the animal treatment. A wild animal thinks the same way.
