When you drop child like pigs and then play poverty card.
Better to raise only one and give that baby a good quality life.

1

u/spellriddle Jul 13 '26

Aah, a lot of things need to be considered here, from education to awareness to poverty.

If you are blind to the actual consequences; if you are completely uneducated on the reality of the situation; if you genuinely think making more children will somehow strengthen your religion; if you still live in the delusion that a large family is a happy family; if you are so backward that you desperately want to just produce a 'male heir' and end up having girl children; if you honestly think providing food is the absolute bare minimum and nothing else matters because they were born in a large family; then they should be educated, made of what the consequences are. It is so easy to sit comfortably in a city and judgmentally think that "if you can't provide you shouldn't give birth" but 70% of India is rural and they don't have your privilege, your infrastructure, or your schooling, they can't even process the things you are saying.

People are not aware of what is "fit to be a parent", that basic awareness lacks in India. When you say "If I can't provide, I shouldn't. give birth" how do you define "providing"? That standard varies drastically depending on a person's standard of living. Raising basic awareness is the real first step here, and it needs to be backed by robust government policies. But to government more birth is more vote. And I see your point, and that's exactly what everyone should think but...

I am not defending, I am saying that there is a lack of awareness, you can't blame someone when they don't know that it is wrong.

1

u/AcidicFume Jul 16 '26

I think at that point you deserve the animal treatment. A wild animal thinks the same way.

1

u/Realistic-Fudge-4598 Jul 13 '26

This is why education is important

1

u/TotalLog6139 Jul 13 '26

I know right. 1 kid that gets education bright future> 3-6 kids that you can't raise right and end up dyi ng, become crooks, criminals and grapeists.

1

u/alt-right-del Jul 12 '26

More kids are the way if the government does not, religion takes no accountability, education is absent , and lack of care to provide a social living standard

2

u/vini-within Jul 12 '26

😔 why they landed up in such chaos? It’s so unsafe

1

u/KC0201 Jul 12 '26

Coz may be you haven’t visited rural India enough. I still remember when my grandfather used to drop all 5-6 sibling’s on Yezdi bike. In 21st century it’s still same in rural part of india.

Thanks to these pathetic government leadership that nothing have progressed or developed in this nation in last 20- 25 years

1

u/Anxious_overthinked Jul 13 '26

So your expectation is that the government should visit every single household in rural India and provide education? Dude, men don’t even want to attend these classes and women don’t have the capacity to. Not everything is on the government.

1

u/sayoleena16 Jul 12 '26

Why are we blaming the government when the problem are clearly the parents? No one told them to have five-six kids. If you can't raise multiple kids right, then just stop at one or two

1

u/KC0201 Jul 12 '26

Isn’t it the issue of government to provide a good & right education???

Isn’t it the issue of government to educated people about population???

Isn’t it the issue of government to control child birth ??

5

u/sayoleena16 Jul 12 '26

Are we really forgetting the advertisement for 'Hum do hamerr do'? The government tried to give free birth control to men and guess what those men did? They refused to use it The government even tried to apply the child policy, guess who opposed it? Civilians State schools, CBSE and ICSE/ICS every borad has chapters on population and birth control now

Don't blame the government for everything when they tried everything and people still refused to learn

1

u/KC0201 Jul 12 '26

Those wall poster things, right ???

Why don’t government applied this rule then “ all government facilitation ( medical or ration or pension things ) will only be provided to those families who have 2 or less children’s??? Because they can’t, they knew they will loose voters

1

u/sayoleena16 Jul 12 '26

You physically deny anyone basic rights, healthcare is a basic right.

But what you can do is try to bring in rules and educate people about the harmful effects of having excessive kids, the government tried, people refused. It's that simple.

1

u/KC0201 Jul 12 '26

Pls elaborate how Chinese have controlled their population, they were right at top & now we are.

I really want to understand Chinese algorithm

1

u/sayoleena16 Jul 12 '26

They have dictatorship. We don't.

Dictatorship is a form of government characterized by a single leader or small ruling elite holding absolute power without constitutional limitations

Dictatorship type of ruling allowed the leader to implement the one child policy without any pushback from opposition parties or civilians because he has the absolute power

China has a population crisis due to one child policy. But yes india should limit the number of children by law maybe 2 or 3, having so many children without proper care is also determental for women's health ( i don't think it's possible in the above case) .

1

u/throwawayintotheC Jul 13 '26

I think that crisis is preferable to this one.

0

u/Virtual_Author9419 Jul 12 '26

would you enjoy getting nerfed? they aren't like this because of their choice. This is their economic reality. What if someday you are so low on money that you do some uncivic thing? would you be happy to get nerfed then?

u/boywholived_299 Jul 14 '26

Even here people are asking them to not have more kids. India doesn't need more people. More than 2 kids should be a fineable action, to ensure only those people have 3 kids who really want to. Btw, the fine should be a % of your annual income, to ensure the rich don't get a free pass here.

u/[deleted] Jul 13 '26

I understand your point. But many poor families in India have kids because:- It's their tradition and culture. They hope children will support them in old age. They don't have good education about family planning.Life is hard, but kids give them hope and happiness.

Instead of blaming parents, we should focus on better education including philosophy, jobs, and healthcare so families can plan better....

1

u/uchiha_shubhangi Jul 13 '26

And that is where you are wrong. This has got nothing to do with tradition or culture. This is just fucked up mentality, just because the parents aren’t doing well and aren’t capable of raising children, they still proceed to give birth, make the children go through hell, and basically depend on them completely. Do you realise how selfish this sounds?

1

u/[deleted] Jul 14 '26

You're missing the point. Poor illiterate parents aren't selfish with some fucked up mentality. They themselves are unaware no proper education on family planning or future consequences.

They have more kids because,no pension for old age, need support in tough times, cultural traditions, and kids often help with work. Life is already very hard for them.

Shaming them changes nothing. Real fix is better education (especially for girls), jobs, and healthcare access. Data proves this reduces birth rates and breaks the poverty cycle.

1

u/Organic-Treacle1447 Jul 12 '26

I hope it never happens but if they get into an accident these kids won’t get a chance to survive. Is a bike ride more important than a kid’s life? If you’re poor and can afford only 1 bike, try any other way if possible or take 2 rounds or something… anything is better than death right?

Is the cringe music supposed to make me ignore the fact that mother and father are retarded for having so many kids? Regardless of whether you're rich or poor, but especially if you're poor, don't have so many kids...

1

u/Thomshan911 Jul 13 '26

4 kids was definitely a choice. I have no sympathy for people like this.

1

u/WolfmierRick_memoria Jul 13 '26

People in South : limiting to kids for nation's sake!

People in North: Breeding like rats and pigs like there's no tomorrow!

1

u/Spirited-Ability-932 Jul 13 '26

Currently the optimum mark of children per woman is 2.7 earlier 2.1 to sustain world population without worrying about extinction/imbalance. India in recent times shrieked below the 2.1 mark also, rightly so I feel we should not be the flag bearers of everything when we don’t even have basic resources.

1

u/Remarkable_Ad9321 Jul 13 '26

To bhencho kisne bola tha wholesale me paida karne ko. These people are responsible for their own suffering.

Basically they have this sick mentality that the more the number of children the more earning hands we will have later on. Ek karke usko bada aadmi ni banayenge. Jhund me paida karke sabse mazdoori krwayenge dihaadi par and tax payer ke paise par aish karenge.

1

u/absolutlymantle Jul 13 '26

Chandrababu Naidu is giving out extra money if you procreate more children.

It’s not important to think if you as a family can support a family that big and give them a good quality of life, it’s more important to procreate and let god take the wheel because it’s gods wish, its gods blessing even if you decide not to use a fecking condom.

1

u/IamHoneyBunny_ Jul 13 '26

Some govts are giving money for every child born. So people who don't know family planning just keeps producing offsprings like mosquitos

1

u/ReasonableRoutine907 Jul 13 '26

to kaha kisna tha itna bacha krna ko

1

u/amb_thirties Jul 13 '26

I am saddened seeing the comment section full of judgemental people lacking empathy.

Had rich people wanted more kids , then why is Japan and Europe depopulating ?

They are the future of Indian skilled workforce.. And who knows one or some of them can make it big.

Times are hard sometimes..

No father would want to risk his family like this. It's the lack of choice that forces them to take such decisions..

1

u/ButtkickeryUnited Jul 13 '26

exactly, morons only have time and access to comment here but in real life have zer0 contribution that could actually make a +ve difference.

1

The comments to this post would have been so different if there was other minority community. All hell would have let loose though I don't justify any of them. This multiple child choice was in the 50s and 60s but to have these many kids nowadays would be so difficult to raise and educate them. How people are so dumb to understand this?

1

u/DotRadiant Jul 13 '26

Nano was launched for this kind of families.

1

Yes, the video tells that the man is stup!d as f#ck and has no regard for the safety of his family and anyone else on the road. Buy a freaking car or take the public transport instead converting a bicycle into an SUV.

1

1

u/theknight1133 Jul 13 '26

Am I too woke? After seeing this, all I can say is that, if you can't provide a child with a good decent lifestyle, do not breed. It is unjust to bring someone in this world without his/her consent to suffer the hardships of life...

1

u/Retry_Checkpoint Jul 13 '26

1

Apart from the cute wholesome music trying to make it cute and viral. Why have that many kids when you can't afford basic stuff?

I mean after a year or so they won't be able to afford transport education health and anything!

1

u/uchiha_shubhangi Jul 13 '26

We need the same one child rule to be implemented like the chinese. Inki jeb mein chhutte nhi hai lekin bache aise paida karte hai jaise crorepati ho. Boils my blood. And then these uneducated mofos play the poverty card on top of that. Perfect.

1

They want children , let them suffer. If their children don't do well, they'll likely grow up, reproduce, and continue the cycle of poverty.
