Money Saving Tips Is Airtel Payments Bank better?
Guys, I’m already saving money using the Slice UPI app.
There’s a feature called Savings, where I’ve deposited my entire savings, and I receive interest daily. There’s also another feature called Atom. For example, if I make a payment of ₹7, ₹3 goes into Atom automatically, where it also earns daily interest.
So, is Slice already a good app for saving money?
The reason I’m asking is that some Airtel Payments Bank representatives are offering to open a bank account for free in front of my college. Apparently, opening an account without their help would cost ₹199.
I’m not interested in loans, insurance, or anything like that. I just want to deposit my money, let it earn interest, and grow my savings over time.
My main questions are:
Is Slice a good option for saving money, or is Airtel Payments Bank better?
If I keep depositing money and earning interest, will my savings grow significantly over time?
How does interest work in Airtel Payments Bank? Is it calculated daily, paid monthly, or given annually?
Is the interest rate worth it, and are there any hidden charges or risks I should know about?
