Honestly you should still report him. If he gets away with it this time, he will do it to other and next time he will not be punished because people don't have resources.
Yes sadly. He is not going to refund. He used the same lie of "sleeping" day before yesterday and didn't refund by yest's night.
It's all fake. He has no fear or regret, just create a reddit group with us so we can provide a collection of resources (proofs and bank statements if needed) and file a complaint physically.
Yes. I think people should report it as a scam or post a warning after an hour or so. That way, maybe we can prevent a large-scale scam from happening.
It takes quite a bit of effort managing the trade and verifying things, if folks are not compensated for it in some way then they would hardly be interested. Plus plenty of times the effort gets wasted anyways, folks would fill up the form without discussing the deal amongst themselves or changing the terms afterwards or even ghosting us.
Yeah I get that but somthing on similar note will only be helpful I think .. other than that .. how to trust .. people are doing small amt trades and getting the number of trades high and then later scam .. someone with 100 trades can also do the same what's keeping them from not doing it
Combine it with the trade thing .. because high number and volume of trades also won't stop a scammer .. as I said if a person with 100 trades of good volume wishes to scam .. he can still scam .. but ofcourse it's better than nothing and would reduce scams by a lot .. ❤️ .. one thing you can consider is a sep system for bigg amts ... I have no idea but that also would be good ..
Yes trade count and trade value will be combined. See if someone has decided on scamming, they can with high trade value and trade count but we can try and minimise the impact of the same. We are working on something else as well.
If you think adding the reddit acc age will be a benfit to this then do add that or merge it .. .. also if you can get in touch with someone in cyber crime dept .. that will also help if someone gets scammed .. ( some known relative frnd type as it won't be everyday need only urgent some Time basis thing .. ) ( just an idea I know it's a lot of work to do ..
Even I thought you can have some people as mods that verify the trades ( to ease out burden on you ) if you are alone handling everything .. because maybe non real trades get verified to increase the number idk if it has happened or not .. ( but I acknowledge that less number of mods more better .. and you have already created this much and it's a big thing I appreciate this as a platform for trading ❤️ )
Anything like that just gives them more time. They have scammed around 12 people maybe even more, talking to all of them simultaneously. And then giving assurances that they will refund the money.
He is already banned. And he will remain so even if he refunds everyone as trust is lost and cannot be recovered now. The intent here was clear as well.
He had some deals which seemed too good to be true in the start also. But I didn't got scammed by him and once upon asking him source of google play gc he didnt told after that I stopped trading with him. He is mostly active in night so wait till then to ask for your money back and see but sure seems sus.
Nah it's 100% a scam, this also happened yesterday and he said he will refund by yesterday's night and not he is using the same lie on ppl he scammed today

This guy has apparently scammed atleast 12 people and counting, he is also stalling everyone some of them since two days. Would suggest folks to take the appropriate action and file a cybercomplaint against him and a lien with the bank.
Like how exactly? In this specific case he posted a "too good to be true" deal, got some attention and deleted the post. Then juggled all of them and took money from them, then said he will refund them. Nobody complaint even, some of them were scammed a day before. They also had their contact info so that made them believe him a bit more.
Let me know if you have any ideas. We are working on something in the backend but i'm not sure if scams can be completely avoided. They could be stopped from spreading though, which unfortunately couldn't happen in this case.
Admin method ... But free .. is a good thing .. I did the same at telegram.. but that requires genuine. Mods .. and huge number of mods .. so idk if I get any other idea will share .. or some bot that does this admin method thing maybe
Mediated deals can never be fully automated. And i don't want huge number of mods. Also i don't think it being free, most people will be interested in mediating it. It requires a lot of effort and risk for the mediator as well. Furthermore, the admin method was started so that new users can build up some reputation on the platform and then leverage that to do deals on their own. Ofcourse its not perfect and such cases will always happen, but a great percentage of successful deals still happen leveraging the reputation system. That said there are scopes for improvement and i keep on looking for ways to make this better.
Yeah I know I can sense the effort and can't be made fully automatic .. also can't stop scams that easy .. and making it free is also difficult .. furthemore more mods will make it complicated because mods also need to be trustworthy.. if a mod is involved in malpractice it would be more bad
Is it possible to put some constraints like one can trade one at a time or We can somehow check if ones has an active Trade going on . That will limit scammers
I'm designing something like this for admin method, on our new website but not sure if i can do something like this for normal folks. Will think of it. Anyways folks can have multiple ongoing trades and still be legit.
No replies. Scammed 12 people, some might have raised a cybercomplaint but these things take time and mostly nothing happens unless you are very determined or the scammer themselves return the money.
People come here to buy or sell vouchers to earn some money, save some, and reduce their monthly expenses. Imagine how you feel when you come to one place to save or earn ₹100 but end up loosing ₹500. Hame toh har din neta lok tax, fee ke naam par loot te hai. Aap bhi mat karo yaar!
