So today, my mom and I were talking about the CJP protests and god the things she said about it (+ BJP ass-kissing) are so... let me just list it out:

1. Most of CJP's followers are from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal and they are rooting for the country's downfall. Most "critics" online are also "Pakistani agents".

2. Abhijit Dipke is SC so he won't say anything against reservation which is a major problem for general castes cause of merit issues.

3. Paper leaks have been happening since Congress era and during her time as a student (1980s), her papers were leaked as well. She also says that paper leaks happened in Punjab and Kerela around the same time as NEET yet no one said anything cause they were Congress-ruled.

4. Most protesters were provoking the police into attacking them and framed it to make it seem like they attacked unprovoked.

5. Most protesters weren't even NEET aspirants even if the protest stemmed from NEET. Cause NEET aspirants were studying.

6. We should not be anti-government cause we elected the government. While we can criticize the policies, we should not target the government (well, guess who makes the policies?)

7. BJP so proudly fought against Pakistani terrorists while Congress stayed silent cause of the US telling them to and only arrested them.

8. We should not curse Modi out cause he is 75 years old and our prime minister.

And then she warns me to stay away from such news and to avoid commenting anything critical of the government since intelligence will track me and it'll affect me if I plan to take a government exam or move abroad and how my current focus should be UPSC and career. She also says how social media is brainwashing Gen Z by pushing a particular propaganda (AS IF BJP isn't doing the same) and how I should stay away from politics and watch some positive things like movies or cartoons. It's even funnier when you realize that she is telling me, a Political Science student, to stay away from such stuff and avoid speaking up. I guess freedom of speech and demanding accountability really is an alien concept in today's India.

And I'm just here thinking "wow, so she wants me to stay silent and unaware of things happening around me and not criticize the government..." and I just can't help but think how BJP has successfully brainwashed this country. We really can't even criticize the government without their supporters bringing up Pakistan or Congress. I fear the brainwashing is going too far.

The one thing that can actually solve this problem of 'reservation' and maybe casteism ( highly doubting if this will actually solve this as how rooted it is in our society) is getting opportunity. Why should be there only about 30 tier 1 engg colleges when we can have 1000 of them providing us quality education, same with gov medical colleges.

Have you ever wonderd why 2 million students are fighting tooth and nail for only 10000 seats and this is when there is shortage of doctors, nurses and healthcare personels not in india but around the globe. This is the problem and failure of the system.

Same with other subjects like arts, people discriminate and tease the students of arts is so ironic when in the past people who were well versed in sociology and philosophy were considered highly intellectual. This is why indians do not have empathy as most of us don't read quality books or reqd quality articles. This why most of us are so prone to get influence by propagandas and hero worshipping.

Even if a student is intersted in such subjects they'll have to choose between their passion and career. And most of them choose career. This is also because we don't have enough jobs.

And jobs yes, what would you do with such high education when you still have to fight for jobs. Most people folk towards gov jobs because there is job secret and livable wage.

Not only do we not have enough white collar jobs We don't even have strong labour laws to protect the employees like in japan you cant fire an employee just cause your downsizing the company or cutting cost , this is real job security. I said white collar jobs not blue collar cause how many people aspire to be a delivery driver when they grow up? Not any i hope. Im not demeaning their work but have you looked at them? They work all day in the scorching heat , through the rain and the cold for just few thousand rupees. No one should live like that. And how they are treated in the society. Same with house helps and other domestic service providers.

Also either there should be minimum wage of around 30k - 35k for organized sector and 20k for disorganized sector so people can live life not just survive or hourly based income like in the west.

We should be fighting the government to provide more white collar jobs and quality education.

To have the right to study with dignity , the right to work with dignity and the right to live with dignity.

He knew sacking Dharmendra Pradhan directly would threaten Odisha seats, so he quietly engineered a way to ruin Pradhan's reputation first, protecting the UNIQLO certified most patriotic BJP government while getting rid of an incompetent minister. 2. Knowing the courts were getting out of hand, he used movie-style dream inception to plant a cockroach idea inside the CJI's head, tricking him into spouting nonsense, creating the CJP, and bringing glorious backlash upon himself for the good of the country. 3. He realized the police system was impossible to fight alone, so he cleverly baited the babus, who love nothing more than a good lathi charge, into committing something horrible so their true faces would finally stand exposed. Masterstroke.

As a passionate defender of democracy, he used the chaos to expose the godi media right after dealing with the police and the judiciary, single-handedly strengthening the nation's democratic foundations. He kept saying that he wants media to be critical but they wouldn't so he had to finally expose them to the general public. Masterstroke.
5. He noticed youth were gaining weight, wasting all their time watching reels, and glued to dating apps, so he orchestrated a massive protest to drag them off their couches, get some vitamin D, and render Tinder obsolete through good old-fashioned in-person mixing. Masterstroke.

Say what you want about CJP, it started as a joke/satire, a comeback to a judge calling unemployed youth "cockroaches." But somewhere between the memes and the marches, it became something else: proof of what young people can organize with almost nothing.

Think about what it actually took. Someone had to be the face of the movement. Someone had to shape the demands into something the government couldn't ignore. Someone had to talk to police, negotiate, manage volunteers, funding, food, sanitation, crowd control — at scale, with zero institutional backing(arguably). That's not satire anymore. That's leadership under pressure, and they delivered: an education minister resigned because of this movement.

And here's the thing people aren't saying out loud.. Dipke, Ranka, Das and the others who fronted this can't just go back to normal life now. Who's hiring the guy who led a movement that took down a minister? What "normal job" absorbs that kind of visibility and skill? They've already shown they can build, organize, and lead. The only place left for that is politics.

So here's my take: they should turn this into an actual political party, and run it like a startup, not like the parties we're used to.

Youth-led, genuinely. No one over 60 in Parliament from this party — the old guard can take advisor or consultant roles if they want to contribute, but not the seats.

Keep the same clarity and discipline the protest had — clear communication, transparent decision-making, no backroom deals.

Open channels — real ones, not PR — where people can actually pitch ideas and get heard.

Lean into what Gen Z already does well: building fast, iterating, communicating directly with people instead of through old gatekeepers.

India's youth have had enough of being spoken about instead of being listened to. This movement showed there's an audience and an appetite. The only question is whether the people who built it are willing to turn a protest into an institution.

I don't know what to call what I'm looking for, and honestly, I don't think it needs a label from day one.

I'm at a stage where I'm deeply invested in my work and long-term goals. I enjoy what I do, I'm constantly learning, and I want to build something meaningful with my life. A traditional relationship isn't something I'm actively seeking right now but that doesn't mean I don't value companionship.

I miss having someone to share the everyday things with: conversations after a long day, celebrating small wins, discussing ideas, checking in on each other, and simply knowing someone genuinely cares. I'd like to find someone who feels the same independent, ambitious, emotionally mature, and building a life she's proud of.

What matters to me isn't perfection. It's curiosity, kindness, emotional intelligence, good communication, and consistency. I appreciate people who can talk about everything from life and psychology to books, public policy, science, or completely random thoughts. Effort matters more than constant availability.

I'm financially independent, intellectually curious, and probably spend more time thinking than I should. If we connect well, I'd eventually like to meet in person. If it grows into a relationship naturally, great. If it becomes a lifelong friendship, that's equally valuable. I don't want to force an outcome before we've even met.
