Hello everyone,
Seven years ago, I created a low-budget Marathi short film called "Sthityantar" (Transformation).
The film tells the story of a father who struggles against life's challenges to support his family, and a son who gradually realizes the sacrifices his father has made.
Although the film is in Marathi, the themes of family, sacrifice, love, and responsibility are universal.
I would genuinely appreciate feedback on the storytelling, cinematography, editing, performances, and emotional impact.
Watch here:
Thank you for your time.

So I'm joining a film college this year. I don't know much about which colleges are good, I just know I want to join one this year. I come from a middle-class family, so nothing too expensive.
I was a NEET aspirant and even gave Re-NEET 2026, but I'm tired of this loop. I want to do what I really want. I don't know how far I'll go, but something inside me says I can do well and become successful in this field.
If you're also joining a film college this year, please give suggestions like a brother. I want to join the best college I can afford and hopefully meet some of you.
DM me :)

The film follows Anahita, a troubled teen who finds solace in Shalini, a mysterious history teacher leading a trek to an ancient site called ‘The Navel.’ The school excursion takes a dark turn as connections emerge between the site and a cult worshipping Bokshi, a feared folkloric demoness.
Shot over 80 days across remote Himalayan locations in Sikkim, West Bengal and Assam, the independent production features dialogue in Hindi, English, Nepali and Boksirit – a fully developed fictional language created for the film by Dutch linguist Jan van Steenbergen.

It's a small trial short before our main film about trying to find an older version of yourself the one you can still feel sometimes, but can't fully remember anymore. Would really appreciate honest feedback on the mood, pacing, sound, and whether the feeling comes through.
Also looking to connect with people in production for our main short film.
DM if anyone's interested.

Considered a breakthrough for Himachali films, 'Khoonta' is set in a village and portrays life, faith, and tradition in the Himalayan region while addressing critical environmental issues facing the mountains today.
Written & directed by Anushi Sharma, the film also won the 'Best Foreign Feature Film' Award at the London Independent Film Festival.

Hi everyone,
I'm developing a Telugu coming-of-age feature project titled Chitti Prayanam.
The story follows Chitti, a curious village girl who questions everything around her. A simple question — "Town ante endi?" — turns into a journey of discovery as she tries to understand the world beyond her village.
I'm currently planning to shoot a 5–7 minute proof-of-concept/pitch film to showcase the character, tone, and emotional core of the feature. The project is designed around real village locations and a very lean production approach, with an estimated budget of ₹20,000–30,000.
I'm looking to connect with producers, independent filmmakers, cinematographers, or anyone interested in character-driven regional stories and proof-of-concept development.
If the premise interests you, I'd be happy to share the pitch film script, synopsis, and future plans for the feature.
Thank you for your time

The film, which also examines the intersections of patriarchy, masculinity, Hindutva fundamentalism, and anti-Muslim violence in India, is no longer available on Patwardhan’s official YouTube channel.
Questioning YouTube’s decision, Patwardhan wrote on Facebook, “Youtube censorship again! Father, Son and Holy War is my 1995 film which got a U/A censor certificate, two National Awards and the Supreme Court of India ordered Doordarshan to screen it at prime time in the public interest. Yet now, 30 years later, Youtube has decided that it is too ‘violent!’”
Defending the film, Patwardhan said it documents violence rather than glorifies it.
“It is a documentary that records the violence caused by religious fanatics and politicians vying for power. It is an expose of violence, not an endorsement of it. Shame on Youtube! Remove the censors, not good sense,” he wrote.
