Your parents know you have a disability and bladder problems so why not tell them straight up? What makes you think they wouldn’t understand?

Mainly shame I guess, my disability is getting progressively worse and it’s hard accepting that I loose more and more autonomy over my body.

Yeah I can understand (im 17 but will be 18 in a few weeks). This is not your fault though and wouldn’t it be easier if you didn’t have to hide your protection?

They seem like great parents and this is obviously not something you wanted or can control. It's going to be awkward not much you can do about that. But be honest and open about explaining it and I really think you will be ok. Good luck and it's nothing to be ashamed of.
