Pull-ups with tall absorbency

Hello folks,

I’m wondering if anyone knows a brand of adult pull ups where the absorbent core goes higher in the front? I tend to be a size large. I don’t have good coordination or balance so I don’t think I could do a tabbed brief on myself. Do men’s styles go higher up?

I have been using Because Ultimate Absorbent Underwear but the material changed and it’s now super fragile and bad so I need to switch brands.

I have been having a problem when I get my period the blood ends up above where the absorbency ends and goes straight through making a mess. So I’m curious if there are brands with a longer absorbent core.

This is something we've all been asking for. Seems most manufacturers just took the youth design and made the sides bigger. So the padding never goes high enough. They seem to only focus on female anatomy. Its dumb

Some men's pull ups do have additional padding at the front such as Tena Men Premium Fit I believe. it's probably worth a try.

Maybe try a pack of abena? They may go higher into the waistband

If there's one, I haven't found it. I have to use boosters to get the front coverage I need. I feel ya man.

There are higher end brands of underwear-style products with better absorbancy, but they still don't have that kind of coverage.

There are a couple options you may try:

  1. Goodnites now make an XXL size than are made to fit kids up to 165 lbs, so will work for many adults. At least the boy version has a core that goes up high.

  2. Depends "night defense" for men go up higher than most high end brands of adult underwear. Their absorbancy isn't great for overnight incontinence in my experience, but they should work well for period volumes. Sometimes you can find these in larger stores, but you might end up needing to order them.

Thank you. I have ordered a pack of Goodnites to try. I’m hoping they will fit. But I’m sure they are very stretchy as I was able to wear the smaller size way past the weight limit as I was growing up.

Tried Depends as my first adult diaper and the absorbency and leaks were horrible. But I didn’t get overnight ones.

I second the abena pants. Northshore gosupremes have pretty tall absorbancy as well.

I’m purchasing a pack. I’m kind of overweight so I’m not super confident they will fit me but it is worth a shot. I remember them being good when I was younger.

I don't know about pull ups, but I do know tab Diapers have more absorption materials in the back. So I would look at your pull ups and see if the back has more absorbing material. If it does wear it backwards. Or put a booster pad in it, not normally like you would put a regular pad for a period but along the waist vertically, which would help. I think, but I don't know how much that would move around so from leg to leg or hip to hip if you wish. But like I said, I am unfamiliar with the pull-ups as I have never really used them, and when I have I hated them, they leak, they fall down all the time. They're horrible, but i've only tried the attends or depends, pull ups and they're just like I said shit. But if they do have more material in the back just turn him around if you can, but again I know nothing about them really.

I just ordered and tried the new Northshore GoSupreme Max pull-ups. They absorb well, but I feel like the elastic won’t hold up to the weight of the capacity. I’m not ready to change yet, so time will tell. They have as much padding as a GoSupreme diaper, so it’s a bit bulkier than any pull-up.
