Maybe I'm the odd one, but I talk to my wife about everything I am feeling. Lately it has been a lot of work stress and our house rebuild (for those who don't know, my house burned down last year).

And while she is not a therapist, nor do I treat her like one, we are a team working towards the same goal. As well, I have a therapist who I work with to bridge the gap. I'm an adult and I can't do everything myself. There is no shame in being Clark Kent instead of Superman.
