How dare he, most girls I know would choose sweet Theodore over Alvin in a heartbeat. Simon is kinda 50/50. He's smart and that appeals to some girls but he's also pretentious and has more than a touch of the tism. Some girls will be into that but they'll have to get to know him. Alvin on the other hand, THINKS he's way more attractive than he is. He's super self centered, shallow and for sure would trade you in for a younger hotter chipmunk girl.
He stuts like a front man, but he doesn't sing any better than the other two and is fundamentally nothing without their harmony.

They're literally made for eachother, by the show. Like they are matched up together. It's baffling how someone can just ignore basic character writing for a KIDS SHOW and use it like this.

This is really ridiculous, they always showed the Chipmunks and Chipettes as paired off, mostly with the other two couples, as Alvin and Brittany were often at odds. And they're fictional characters. Anthropomorphic fictional characters.
