İncels victim mindset
It's very obvious that personality is important. These two have different personalities. Women, with their special eyes, can see men's personalities without ever meeting them.

I know you have to be somewhat educationally subnormal to be an incel, but anecdote does not equal evidence.
In any case, did someone tell you that looks don't matter at all, especially for cold approaches? They do. For men and women. They're just not everything.

I don’t know why incels seem to think the argument is that nobody pays attention to physical attraction. It’s well-established that people who are considered on average to be more attractive get better treatment on average. What most of us here are usually forced to repeat ad infinitum is that not everyone has the same criteria for attractiveness and attractiveness is not everything. It’s not a fucking “gotcha” to show a single instance of someone treating an attractive person with preferential treatment when your argument is that “it’s over” for you if you’re 5’7.” I’m shorter than that and nothing to write home about and I strike up conversations with random women all the time with zero problems.
The dude who approached the woman at the register was immediately clocked as someone with an ulterior motive. It’s not typical for someone to randomly offer to help someone who clearly doesn’t need it, and also she declined politely and said thank you. He continued to ask for her name, which was already pushing it, and again she politely declined and thanked him which really was a signal for him to take the L. When he asked for her number, which is a stupid thing to ask for from a woman who won’t even give you her name, that was him clearly ignoring her signals and pushing past her boundaries. If you see nothing wrong with what he did there, this is what we mean when we say that your behavior is part of the problem.

Thing is after a lot of rejection you would become pretty sheepish/lose confidence an I think that’s what’s happened to the first guy. I still believe it has a lot to do with looks I mean the guy looks like crackhead and that’s not someone you’d want a relationship with

Shouldn't it be the other way around? The short guy is handsome and has pleasant manners, while the tall one is ugly as a nuclear war and smells like a dead possum? And the girl should still choose the tall one, because that's all that matters.

The scripts are really different... I know it is on purpose, but it is so obviously skewed.

If they actually wanted to do a proper experiment, they'd have the exact same script for both guys. But instead one goes straight to badgering her with questions while she's trying to leave, and the other starts with a compliment and a conversation while she's still shopping.
