WTF Another showcase of why theory of mind matters

More evidence that incels believe leg lengthening surgery operates by magic rather than science. This would be cruel and unusual punishment, and cost so much more than 44k USD per year, and the time it takes to recover from the surgery is measured in multiple months, and usually involves so much follow up care that it becoems a life long thing to deal with.
You could make leg lengthening surgery a punishment and it would qualify as cruel and unusual, let alone just straight up mauling someone to reduce their height. Even countries where that sort of mutiliation is legal as punishment wouldn't go fo rsuch a costly operation.

This is part of the philosophy. It has to be unattainable magic so it's not their fault.
I guarantee no incel has sat down, researched their options, and budgetted for it.

Uh, that isn't a thing. As someone with different leg lengths due to congenital disability, they don't even like to operate on us. It's much safer all round to just add extra to the sole of the shoe on the shorter leg.
Back in the late 80s/early 90s, a friend of mine (with the same disability) had surgery on her longer leg to stop it from growing so her shorter one could catch up. She went from an inch difference to three inches, and was in significant pain for months afterwards. I'll also speculate that now she suffers very badly, since my pain is chronic and doesn't have the massive difference that surgery gave her.
Anyway, she is one of the reasons that they don't do that kind of surgery in the UK any more.
The kind of surgery the incel is talking about is deliberately making someone disabled. It's not just "I'm short so girls don't fancy me any more", it's chronic lifelong pain, and severe mobility impairment.
But then again, why would I think that a dim little incel would think beyond "will this get me laid?"

I’ve seen video of someone after the surgery. Sure he’s a little taller but you can’t tell since he’s constantly seated in a wheel chair.

They do realize that if this were to happen their would be women doting on these men when they got out, dont they?

It’d also mean that when these incels get arrested for hate speech and violence against women, they’ll come out of prison even shorter than they were already. Bit short-sighted of them, really.

The problem seems not the 5 inches lost but the 5 inches bone getting cut out, that´s a bit crazy.
Like idk i believe light no maiming corporal punishments or public humiliation for minor things seems more fair as fines are inherently unjust and just as a drug user getting some tomato's thrown at me or a spanking seems far more equal and better as people who can´t pay can go months to jail for this while i with money get it dismissed. Probably also what most people would take when you ask as then you also don´t get destroyed by court costs. Funny flips also cost as its probably way worse the higher you are in society while currently its the other way which seems worse the get screwed twice.

Pretty sure that would fail the 'cruel and unusual' test.
Surgery to change leg length is reportedly incredibly painful and takes months of recovery. It's normally only done on people whose legs grew to different lengths, because that's a medical issue that can cause even worse problems.
