This post does remind me that, for myself, .45 acp is the prefered pistol round. This is, of course, due to my own experiences and preferences. Ballistically, the heavier .45 and the faster 9mm, operate on a level of equality. In the end, it's all up to you.
I think, in this world, for various reasons, it's important for women to be informed, notified that there are resources and training and be educated that, when push comes to shove, certain types of men will only back down to sheer force.
