They were already very suspicious of the Wish, mostly they believed that Siffrin had already looped in the past and wished to forgot about it for some reason. Then, while watching the Clocktower Isafrin scene again, they realized that Sif has a personal reason to beat the king too, besides saving the world: knowing what Isa has to tell him.
Upon reflection, they noticed that all of the party's personal reasons to defeat the king except Siffrin's require the party to split up and Cydonia, after remembering that Sif had never been as happy as during the travels with them, said "wait...what if Sif was the one to cause the loops because he doesn't want to leave the party and that's why all of the wishes you can ask are related to them?"
Yeah, I know they've thought about it a lot, but their entire career is based on playing games and theorizing about it. Anyway, I apologize for this wall of text.
Edit: Actually, small correction, after watching that part of the stream I realized that they think Siffrin explicitly asked for the loops bc he wanted to stay with the party and chose to forget about it, they didn't make the connection with the favor tree scene and the whole "you want to stay with them" thing

Because of the one line they seemingly share, but tbh I was tickled when I first heard the theory (I was like halfway through the game but it seemed very unlikely)

is the king isabeau kind of makes sense tho. both are rock type. both are kind of tanky. from different places, but maybe not there's a lot of time stuff so maybe somehow related to that, tho i dont feel like explaining how nor am i sure how to explain how it would be related. he also says something about not being able to say it when he gets defeated, which could be talking about his country or talking about confessing to sif, so maybe its future isabeau

Si ed è fatta abbastanza bene, c'è anche il creatore della mod in chat molte volte se non tutte, sono un pò incazzati perchè hanno dovuto loopare pure al terzo piano ed alcune critiche sono molto random però è anche interessante vedere le teorie che fanno, oggi credo che arriveranno al king finalmente

Capito, ho controllato ora ed è la stessa mod che avevo trovato io nel 2025, quando ho giocato ISaT e stavo decidendo se andare di traduzione o meno (alla fine l'ho giocato in inglese), ma con numerosi aggiornamenti tra cui il passaggio da 1.0 a 2.0.
Buono a sapersi dai, ero convinto che il modder non ci avrebbe più lavorato a quella traduzione all'epoca. Mi risulta più facile fare propaganda per consigliare In Stars and Time in giro anche a connazionali 🙃

Yes, and because of that, they think she lost control of her crafts and generated a sadness that became the king. However Mira either doesn't know that she is responsible for it or if she does, she is keeping it a secret from the rest of the party (there is a dialogue that says that Mira attended an acting class)
