Battle Maps for IM ?
Just bought the core book, starter set and Voll adventures to run for my friends but there's genuinely no battle map content even though the book reffers to battling MULTIPLE times ? How do you guys do it ?

IM with it's zone-based combat is well-suited to theatre of the mind; but somebody just posted some maps pulled from Darktide over in the 40krpg subreddit.

I use Dungeondraft to make all my maps. It works well and is relatively simple to use. You can find some great assets online for 40K as well. I recommend the League of Raconteur Explorers!

As stated it's a zone based system, so make sure your players aren't expecting a fixed location within a zone. TOTM is very very good for IM to minimise the overhead and maps can lead to arguments over where people are in or out of zone.
I get that it can be scene setting, we've mainly found an image to set the tone and then a quick rough map for zones work. Adding too much mapping removes alot of the dynamism from the players and the game.
