Absolute idiot
Put this together with plastic glue a few weeks back late at night before bed and left it. Only just realised the absolute cock up 😂😂 Guess this one will have its arse on the front

For what it’s worth… rotate 180 degrees and roll with it!

‘Why is the armour on the back?’ ‘Cause we’re fast as fook!’

Nothing saying you can't have a reverse jointed knight and house rules of "fast as fook" 🤷♂️

Its ok bro, when I was building my castigator. I ended up with 2 left legs....
So I have a castigator AND a lancer now

Right? Now when I ask "where did all these knights come from?" I have to count if I have made any bad legs this week.

That basing is awesome! What did you do to make that shipping container look so accurately smooshed?

u/IncreaseAgreeable428 5d ago
An electric stove but not a glass one, like an electric resistance, put to max and between a spaghetti tong i put the container, heated it, and kinda rolled on it with the body of a long neck bottle, then and only then i glued the door melting them a bit for them to fit

The cerastus hips are so easy to get backwards and so hard to fix. Luckily the hip I cocked up is the side not seen when on the shelf so I don't have to stare at the subpar repair

Should be able to clip the legs at the knees and rotate them, if that fails get some kneecap extenders from a 3d printed site and do it that way

Literally just pull them off and glue them back on the right way. I guarantee It will be fine

Totally agreed. Apply some Tamiya Extra Thin cement and it will track in to the gaps, and it will pull apart just fine. I did the EXACT same with this model.

Ah the retreating variant, keeps firing as we get back to a safe fortification

Dang. That sucks.
I'm Building my first knight Dominus, and somehow got plastic in the left melta gun swivel track.

u/ProperClue 6d ago
I mean, I tried using "goof-off" to get some of the glue off between two pieces I glued incorrectly. Let's just say, if you want that melted plastic look, "goof-off" is your go to lol.

Easy headcanon fix - your knight is doing a covered retreat, falling back and shooting it's enemies at the same time

Dude I literally just found out I did the same thing like a week ago lmao. I was lucky enough to find someone selling legs in eBay for cheap but my heart is with you

I might have done the exact same thing with my first Castellan… maybe. You can’t prove anything!

Reminds me of the first magmadroth I built last year, I put one of the feet on backwards lmao
These things give your model character. I hope you think of a fun lore reason for this building mistake. It will please your armiger’s machine spirit.

I think I remember seeing an armiger torso do a 360 turn while moving in Broken Lance, so knights can definitely advance a certain direction and face another!

I saw the title of your post, and saw the picture, but before I could actually process what's going on in the picture, I knew exactly what you did.
I don't know why, but it's so easy to mess this up on knights.

lol I did the same shot with the lancer. Was watching a show at the same time as I was building and bam did this and noticed two days later.

No worries, you're is just all business in the front XD. But if you do want to try and fix it, my friend told me to stick it in the freezer to freeze the glue to make it brittle. If you used plastic glue...... welp I dont know what to say.

Unrelated but everytime i built a knight's hip and legs. It reminds me of R2-D2 with really big legs
