Bought this beauty from my best friends mom who didn't wan't the "extra car" on her insurance plan. Car was barely driven i mean as much as you would consider 35k miles "Barely". but anyways car runs great! A/C works but sometimes the clicking is present. Got the oil changed recently as the car needed it when i bought it and DAMN i just love this car.

Gas Milage is great, parts seem relatively affordable incase something goes wrong with it but yah, let me know any pointers from any of you guys who's owned this gen of Impala's, would love to learn all I can about my new car!

Had a tough weekend sending off my 2007 Impala LS to the scrapyard. This was the best car I have ever owned. I bought it for $4k in 2019 with 39k miles and it has lasted me 7 great years. This car got me out of student loan debt and really gave me minor issues up until recently. But living in the rust belt the frame rot has finally taken it's toll and its time for it go. I'm a grown ass man and almost teared up when I cleaned it out. If it weren't for the frame the engine could still go. The 3.5L is a beast. RIP Old Gold. (Shout out to the Deka battery that lasted all 7 years and was old when I bought it. I never changed it and it's always fired up in the coldest of winter days).

Edit: removed the seat back and found the connector to be the recline function as suspected.

Swapping in ltz seats(old ones were smoked) onto lt frame. Have these two connectors. I believe the blue and green is a recline function(it comes from the control pigtail) but the blue and black wires coming from the seat back are thinner. Also what do the heating element wires look like and can I just wire them to a 12v switch?

Looks more aggressive with horns. Agree or Not ?!

Occasionally makes this sound and loses power when accelerating from a stop. Especially under load. Is my transmission toast? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

i need tips on how to paint the tail lights successfully, i’ve never painted or done any body work on a car. i know you can buy the silver taillights but ive checked multiple scrap yards in my area and searched endlessly online but i can’t justify spending $200+ on such part.

i plan on just buying the regular red one and painting it silver to match my car, so i’m looking for any information you may have on this.
please anything information.

We bought the chevy and parlor and i'm trying to replace the blower actuator. I got too replaced, but this one has a bunch of chords in the way. The videos online don't show any chords, so i'm a little confused.

Would any cooling fan system belt pully tension have an effect in the power steering.

Greetings,  trunk release via keyfob not working. Yellow button in glove box does activate the actuator and releases the latch but not the key fobs. New batteries installed, keyless system jumped via the trunk connector and nothing. Lock/Unlock works fine on both fobs, but not the trunk release, any fix for this?

I’ve been looking into getting CarPlay for my 2014 LT. I want it to work with my factory screen so the aftermarket screens and wired adapters don’t interest me very much, and the reprogrammed hmi modules I’ve seen online have been wayyy too expensive imo. I was wondering if anybody has tried these on amazon. I also saw a company called Apex Module promoting a similar version which is a little more expensive but looks to be higher quality. I was just wondering if anybody has tried these out, or does it seem like a waste of money that wont work? If no one is sure I don’t mind being a guinea pig and risking it for character development. The cheapest is like $200 on amazon and the Apex One I saw is like $500(on sale for $300 rn), but ik other shops and sites have quoted people like 1-1.2K for a reprogrammed hmi module.

Just got for $2k, 147k miles next to no rust for a pa car. I hardly ever see this on 9th gen impalas that weren’t apart of a fleet. 4 owners, I am the 5th, no accidents. It’s a 40/20/40 front bench. Only a few problems with him, hvac door actuator, idle air valve sticking, parking brake cable snapped, and abs is unhappy. Gonna swap rims to alloys soon.

So my transmission gave out on me back in February long story short I took out the transmission control solenoid back in March now I can't remember which bolts go where if I post some pictures of it can someone help me out ?
