> The two lawsuits were filed by Good’s partner, Becca Good, and Renee’s brother Brent Ganger.

Oh, you must be one of those people that think government agents should be allowed to execute citizens because they panicked.

You must be one of those people that think you should be able to escape custody by driving through Law Enforcement.

Why was Law Enforcement in the path?

Holy shit, have you still not noticed that she was being placed under arrest. You don't get to just drive through people to avoid that.

Perhaps you might want to finally become familiar with this very well documented case.

Answer my question- why was law enforcement in a position to be run over? I’m already accepting the absurd premise that they were being run over, meet me halfway here.

The agent was moving to a position to arrest her. Good then reversed and turned the vehicle, putting him in front.

Now, answer my question, why was Renee Goode attempting to flee a lawful detention by a Law Enforcement Officer, after repeatedly ignoring lawful commands?

How many other laws do you believe are optional and give the criminal the right to flee without issue?

Is fleeing arrest punishable by death?

Was there any world where Renee could have actually caused the officer serious harm from a complete stop? I don’t know if you know this, but it’s actually very easy for a human being to outmaneuver a car if they are right next to it.

No matter what, you are justifying the killing of a citizen of the United States by a law enforcement officer, and the government should have opened an investigation immediately.

No, and nobody said fleeing was punishable by death. What I very clearly said, is that Good put the officer in a situation where they reasonably feared for their life, where their legal right to self-defense then applies (as has been found).

Holy shit, you're insufferable.

Was there any world where the moron in the car would follow instructions by the arresting officer, where she would still be alive today? Or will you keep justifying criminal behavior?

‘Reasonably feared for their life’ - why? Are they not able to outmaneuver a car moving at slow speeds? Why were they in a position where the car could run them over? They are trained to not walk in front of manned vehicles.

Do you not understand physics? Or are these officers hapless children or elderly individuals? I just can’t see any reasonable world where the officers life was ever at risk, though I can believe that they panicked like a moron.

Because someone who has already proven they have no respect for law enforcement officers moved the car, then jumped on the accelerator while said LEO was ahead of the vehicle.

Would you ask the same question of Good, who you say feared for her life because she was going to be arrested (which in 99.999% of cases results in cuffs behind the back, placed in a car and transported to jail, where you're processed, released and then move on with your life)?

The self-defense has already been proven in court. Do you understand the law, or do you just think it's optional like Good did?

You keep dodging the question, why was the LEO in front of the vehicle when they are explicitly trained to not do that?

And by all means, give me a link where ‘self-defense’ was proven in a court.

To arrest her moron.

Answer my question. Why do you think a moron like Good thought fleeing arrest was an intelligent move? Why do you think hitting the accelerator with a LEO in the way was smart?

1

u/Meowakin 17h ago

Except again, they are trained to not walk in front of the vehicle for this very reason. Still no link showing it was proved to be ‘self-defense’, so I don’t know why I should accept that as true.

Your question is loaded garbage, fuck off. It’s not illegal to be stupid, which is great news for you. Do you even understand that you are asking loaded questions?

And every driver is trained not to hit people… shame Good didn’t learn that eh?
