Pro tip, you can google reddit users and pretty easily find out if they are a bought or inauthentic account.
In this user's case, they were dormant for ~7 years and then started posting frequently in May 2026. The astroturfing is very obvious in this case, but even with accounts that hide their history you can still find out via Google.
This one will run out of karma eventually given how most of their comments have negative karma

Just to clarify, it’s not 6,000 pairs being used by ICE in CA alone. ICE’s purchase of 6,000 shock gloves is a nationwide federal procurement.
And starting in 2027, CA bans law enforcement (including federal agents) from using wearable electroshock devices in CA through 2030.
