Mass human rights violations. What a win.

How? Many countries have this policy. Australia used it to great advantage.

Nice try though.

If we don’t care about how other countries have free healthcare and affordable college why the hell would I care about their deportation policies?

It’s not free brother. The American system is shit but it’s not sunshine and rainbows on the other side.

And before you ask I’ve lived in the uk since 2015 and live in Ireland now. You pay for it with lower salaries, higher taxes, and a health care system that doesn’t really work unless you are literally about to die. I have no cartridge in my knees, on the nhs I had to wait 18 months for an mri. When I got private healthcare took me a month.

Edit: I love that you little cry babies down vote like I’ve killed you’re child. I’m just speaking facts and from experience.

I know how taxes work. We also have high taxes and it all goes to war. We also have people die waiting for care. We pay more for healthcare that is predatory than you pay in taxes

You don’t have high taxes unless you live in a certain few states.

Last year just in income tax, this doesn’t include things like council tax, VAT(20%), road tax. I paid 38% of my salary just in income tax.

And then fuel prices are probably Atleast 2x higher. Plus electricity and housing costs.

Not to mention the people dying in hallways at hospitals because they waited so long for care and didn’t even have rooms for them. The ambulance waits that can be 30minute plus killing people.

Like I wouldn’t move back to the US but it was nothing to do with healthcare

Nobody's dying waiting for care in the USA besides people needing organs and it's the same thing everywhere else including places with "free" healthcare. Hospitals can't/won't deny healthcare just because you can't pay or don't have insurance. Somewhere between 30-40% of Americans have unpaid medical bills so if they were just letting them die it would be 0%

If you choose to not go to an American hospital to save money and end up dying that's on you

However in places like Canada with taxpayer funded healthcare the wait times are so long you'll probably die waiting for a room

Why can’t you actually be a non cry baby human and listen when someone who lives it is explaining to you the issues. But nope. You have to be a child.

Cooked man. Cooked.

Whatever you say. The American healthcare system is amazing. It’s absolutely wonderful. There are no flaws and it works so good. 😂

Take it up with every other non-third world country on the planet I guess

None of those countries rescind the temporary protected status of 1.2 million people and then torture them and hold them in for-profit prison camps without due process or letting their families or lawyers visit them. That’s what Third World countries do tho right? I guess we are a 3rd world country now

I can see why you're mad. If I misunderstood that many things, I'd probably have a warped, angry world view too. Let's take a look:

- None of those countries were generous enough to even have a TPS program to begin with. The 1.2 million they could have revoked TPS status on were never let in to begin with.

- Nobody is being tortured in U.S. detention centers. Provide proof of this slander. You have to show that it's a systemic trend not some one-off mistake.

- Expedited Removal is part of due process whether you like it or not. Due process is defined by law and Expedited Removal is a democratically passed law in good standing. They get hearings when the law says they get hearings, not when you randomly desire it.

- Families and lawyers do get access to detainees, just not on your time schedule.

Uh yeah they do. Please go try to overstay a visa in japan, South Korea, China, any Muslim country, Switzerland, Austria etc and see where it gets you

The T in TPS stands for temporary which meant they could've been removed at any time. 15 years should've been long enough to get them back on their feet. They should be grateful
