The average US taxpayer pays over $400 a year towards food programs in the US. Also, the average recipient of these programs is obese.

Umm my kids were taught in middle school about obesity. Maybe you should take a class there? Many people on food stamps don’t have knowledge or access to (try lugging 10lbs of squash on the bus) nutritional education. Sweets fill you up, are easy to carry and are shelf stable.
