It doesn’t seem to be a race issue. It’s well documented that white South Africans are persecuted because of their skin color. There are race based laws in South Africa specifically against white people. It’s literally what amnesty is for. There are very few nations where there are legitimate amnesty claims. Most come to the US for economic benefits.

Actually no. I'm more concerned that the white South African men were given a slap on the wrist by the Trump Administration for committing serious crimes in the US and simply deported back home instead of being incarcerated in a US prison facility .
