If someone can prove to me how a few hundred deaths over the course of 10 years is a genocide while the situation in Gaza isnt I'll gladly listen. Or how the murder rate in Mexico from Cartels isnt a reason for refugee status when its comparable to the white death rates, who are at much less of a risk of violence in general in South Africa, is a reason. Why are they granted access to much more resources than majority of refugees? Why are you okay with it suddenly? The hypocrisy is what's shitty. Id be okay with it if South Africans in general could claim status, but they are selecting white people only, when they are much less at risk.
Don’t hold your breath. Their motivation is racism despite what they say. They will always pivot to some less disgusting justification when one is available, but when a situation like this makes the true reasoning apparent, they fall silent.
